According to Broussard, Lebron's 5 preferred destinations -Miami -Cleveland -New York -Brooklyn -Houston And the Clippers were ruled out because incompatibility with CP3 playing off the ball. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11134425/nba-possible-landing-spots-lebron-james DOC ROCKET's feelings on Broussard. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>2 things: If <a href="https://twitter.com/Chris_Broussard">@Chris_Broussard</a> says it, believe the EXACT oppo & #2: nobody's moving Beard 2make room 4Melo & LBJ! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NBADraft?src=hash">#NBADraft</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/RedNation?src=hash">#RedNation</a></p>— Doc Rocket (@Thedocrocket) <a href="https://twitter.com/Thedocrocket/statuses/481567048363831296">June 24, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Why didn't anyone tell me Broussard originated this story? Broussard sits in his dressing room making crap up for sensationalism. The guy is a hack. He never breaks any stories, just confirms smh
Pippen was always just a guy riding MJ's coat tails, he's hardly relevant when talking about star players. Also, I'm not on board with going after Melo, he's just an older, less talented, less team friendly, forward version of Harden.
Well, both of those 2 championship teams did include the best player in the world who also happened to be an athletic freak. Hakeem was the reason that we won those two titles. How do you explain Miami's big 3 winning 2 titles in the last 3 years? Lakers with Kobe, Gasol and Bynum? None of those teams were very deep.
Bobby my man, when say things like this it makes it hard to defend you. Jordan wouldn't have won **** without Pippen
Pippen would have easily been replaced IMO and there would be another over hyped coat tail rider. If Pippen spend his whole career on a different team, we'd have forgotten about him entirely by now. So to your point that Jordan wouldn't have won without Pippen, sure, if you took him off the team and didn't replace him with anyone, you have a point, but he was just a role player.
So ESPN is reporting we might get Melo AND Lebron now? Man this is going to be a very hype driven offseason full of stupid rumors. Lebron is NOT coming here, and Melo's chances won't get serious until we move Asik/Lin. Wake up me up when that happens
Rich Paul gave him a scoop about Lebron opting out and now this fool is on NBA trade Machine putting together his multiple sources on how Melo and Lebron come to Houston....smh...starting to think he saw my mock post from a few days ago suggesting such madness...
The Bulls won 55 games and were a bad call away from playing in the ECF in a winnable series against the Pacers in 1994...the year AFTER Jordan first retired. Pippen was not just a role player. That is an insult to him. A role player is not gonna lead that 94 cast to 55 wins and what should have been at least a ECF birth. Pippen is very underrated.

There is about a 98% chance that Lebron, melo, or love is on this team within a couple of weeks. You are just being skeptical for being skeptical. The two hardest parts already are done which was trading for a first team all nba player harden, and signing Dwight Howard. If you don't think someone will take $18 million to play with those 2 guys you sir will just have to wait and let it happen and them let it sink in.
I was hinting at LeBron. Carmelo is the means to get LeBron. From what I've heard LeBron wants to play with Melo. Of course if LeBron wants to play with Harden and Howard more then that's better for us, but really the main lure is LeBron.
