    Really doesn't make much sense. If NYK goal is to unload salary for 2015, Calderon is signed through 2017. Larkin is an ok piece, but nothing to write home about.

    Looking at the Knicks roster.

    We could seriously get Melo and... they have no one else I want.. S&T just is pointless... like why...

    As well as New York wanting Lin back. They will suck, but Lin will put butts in seats at MSG.

    This trade makes no sense...
    Also... where does this put Dallas. Are they not a legitimate destination for LeBron/Melo?

    Just when I thought the Mavs were looking at a full rebuild and the Spurs are maybe 2-3 years away from one as well. :(

    That is a really nice team. They will make the playoffs, the West is so competitive.

    Horrifically bad deal for Dallas.

    Knicks look like they are going to tear it down, gather assets and wait until Amare is off the books to make a run at a FA. If Anthony had any thoughts about staying in NY then this deal should take care of that.

    Knicks will likely look to flip Calderon for an expiring contract.

    Calderon can be flipped. He can contribute on a contender. Morey wanted him here last summer. Felton is just buyout trash now.

    This trade signifies that they are not confident in their ability to retain Melo. All signs point to Chicago.

    This trade signifies what I have expected all summer, Phil Jackson really would rather not keep a 30 year old Anthony at 23 million a year for the next 4-5 years.

    Really love the move for Dallas,

    Trade with a team who was poorly ran and coached is always a good way to pay unders

    Knicks (chandler,Felton) - poorly run
    For
    Mavs (dalembert,Larkin,Calderon) - very well run and got the most out of them

    This is a classic morey move

    Is there anyway we could get Calderon in an SnT? Or is that impossible?

    A calderon-lin backcourt would be fun to watch but also god awful.

    What is Cuban doing? Unless you are adding insanely good players or clearing cap you're not worth a damn in this conference. Might as well just cancel the season at this rate. Mavericks are just wasting everyone's time.

    Looks like their making a run at Gasol. They also seem to be setting themselves up for the trade deadline just in case. They probably thing Chandler will be the answer at Center.

    Calderon has two years left on his deal but for too much money. Remember Morey wanted him to wait but Dallas offered too much to turn down.
