Yet, our hopes ride on his play making abilities.

our "hopes" dont rely on his play making abilities. ever since he left roma and came to mls hes looked like complete crap. he only looked good in the qualifying game against nigeria.

what our hopes rely on are the back four and for cameron to step the fk up. if you dont know how to clear a ball in the box then we're doomed. I hope jurgen practices clearances all practice.

give muller or gotze those chances that nani had and we're doomed. i just hope ozil doesnt dominate whoever is starting opposite of bradley

It was a freak error. It happens. The back four have not been the problem at all. Its our pathetic midfield. I do agree though our clearances are a bit weak but the real problem is our ghost of a midfield unit.

These are world class teams. We could have the best back four and goalie in the universe doesn't mean a damn if its possession after possession after possession for the opposing team. Its inevitable the way our midfield disappeared. I just don't understand our first half was fantastic, our midfield showed up and Portugal couldn't create chances worth ****. Complete role reversal in the second half.

This is a good question? Anyone know any good spots other than the obvious (Lucky's/Galway Hooker) spots. I want to go see a game there but don't want to have to be there at 8.

Astros are hosting a view party @ MMP, gates open early for the USA game and then Astros play at 1:10pm.

Spoiler for potential size of poster

Is anyone thinking that both teams will come out tomorrow trying to win? Neither Germany or the US has any incentive to do any more than pass the ball around for 90 minutes then move on to the knockout stage, why risk anyone getting hurt?

I think both teams will come out to win, but if it's tied around the 70th minute or so you will see them lay off.

If this happens, count on everyone else in the world losing respect for both of these teams, and for PORTUGAL to riot. This is why other countries hate. Look for FIFA to investigate or penalize if it is noticeable.

lol @ them using an opening day picture of the stadium cause that's the only one that would have full attendance.
