I'd bet ANYTHING, we could fix this by doing one thing GET RID OF CSN.

I have no idea about all the contracts and BS, but all I know is, I can go to almost any other city and watch their main team in baseball, football, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, curling, polo, marbles.... on my main tv network. but in houston, if I havent subscribed to comcast, then im SOL. I hate this.

Granted, our baseball team is not garnering much anger of ppl not being able to watch, but i would like to be able to watch the Astros and Rockets without having to go to the nearest sports bar or chili's... Again, i have no knowledge about the contracts or anything like that but I think CSN is the main reason we have S**T for media coverage on the TV aspect.

Aside from the obvious reasons, this is why I would like to get LBJ for the Rockets and like someone of Jeter's fame to the Astros... They are so popular we will have no choice but to open up tv media coverage or there will be riots...IMO

No chance in hell. The problem is that the Warriors gave up nearly all of the 1st round picks they can trade in the cap-clearing deal with Utah last July. (Keep in mind, league rules prohibit you from trading future picks in back-to-back years.) And without 1st round picks, there's not enough sweetener to literally give away an entire team's worth of contracts. Just simple math.

Both of the "problems" I listed existed before the CSN mess.

Why doesn't anyone talk about sterling when it comes to Lebron going to the Clippers? It's been stated how difficult it would be for them to do it cap wise but I don't see any FA going to the Clippers until there is an OFFICIAL new owner. I highly doubt the sterling situation gets resolved in time for FA.

Yeah right. Players talk a big game about the Sterling situation, but it's not going to keep anyone from cashing checks.

Seriously though, you guys actually think Houston is an option for him?
Dude needs a big market. Isn't that close with Dwight or harden.
You guys need to get a grip. No one actually even said lebron even is looking at Houston, just that it would make sense on paper.

He's gonna pass up better cities and better friends for us? Get real. Yes I know dwight left LA for Houston. Not the same thing. The year he had in la was disastrous to say the least and never got along with Kobe and knew the team would always stay faithful to kobe

Do these writers have a clue?

    So the Warriors will run

    Curry
    Iggy
    LBJ
    Love
    Bogut

    Yeah good luck

Either he just likes to be a super negative troll (WE LIKE TO TALK ABOUT IT AND ITS FUN BEING IN CONTENTION)

Or, he likes to set the hopes way down low so he can either be super happy when it does happen, or happy with anyone else we sign as its (better than nothing)

    whatevs...

Lebron was probably the biggest player against Sterling and he cares about his image. Not only would he get bashed for leaving Miami but he would get bashed for signing on to a situation he was verbally against. We can agree to disagree but you act like Lebron isn't going to get paid wherever he goes and/or doesn't have options. If you were talking about an MLE player I'd agree with you but its Lebron.

You said you don't see ANY free agent going there until it's resolved.

There is one very relevant part of the Broussard piece:

So basically, according to Broussard, it's a 5-team list -- and two of them (Knicks/Nets) are admitted impossibilities. Here we go...

Well i dont think the CSN mess is helping, its hard to get some good media coverage when even the RESIDENTS of the city have trouble watching their teams..

But on the coverage of Houston in general you are right. I was up in missouri for a while andevery sunday I would turn on the tv for the texans games and of the 4 noon games and 4 3:00 games or whatever none of them would be the texans game showing... it sucked and that was before their terrible season
