I suck at reading sarcasm on the internet, so please tell me this is sarcasm. :)

And I think Ezequiel Lavezzi is making a case to start for Argentina in place of either Aguero or Higuain. He opens up the field a lot more for them and can create the spacing neccesary for Argentina to play more freely.

Without him, Aguero, Higuain, Messi, Gago, and Mascherano are all playing in the middle. Di Maria is the only one that can go out wide succesfully. Messi can, but he won't, and Aguero isn't nearly as effective out wide. So their offense becomes way too centralized, and you can't depend on Zabaleta and Rojo to open it up.

I really couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.

If I was Argentina, I'd be more concerned about my defense going forward. Nigeria has given them fits and the 2 goals were way too easy. They're going to have to be the Rockets in the knockout rounds and outscore their opponents.

If you read his posts in the kobe thread you will know he is probably serious.

Musa has been as good as Messi in this game. He is going to get a multi-million contract from Spain or England after this world cup.

If this isn't sarcasm, I have no idea how you can be a real person. Let's not even mention any number of risks he's opening other players up to in terms of diseases and infections. But for you to use stomping and impaling as MORE egregious than BITING opposing players is laughable. They are ALL acts of violence, and they should ALL be met with harsh punishments. I've played sports (soccer included) my entire life, and never have I had the urge to bite another player due to adrenaline. 99.9% of every other player on this Earth can say the exact same thing which means that Suarez is a menace and a psycho that needs to be put down. Period.

Please ignore the inane comments about soccer and it's popularity, don't feed the trolls.

Doggonit. You honestly truly objectively think this has no debate?? The action was a headbutt to the shoulder- I KNOW I have seen that before. Big deal if teeth were involved. I have seen much worse in football - IE, taking a receiver out from under his knees , kleats to face , whiplash etc. Yall are acting like you've never done anything in the heat of the moment while playing. Its a non threatening cheap shot. Lol at the city boys crying about infections, we've done much worse in the country and are just DANDY. Biting is just suares thing.. You may nt have had the urge, but you have likely had other urges.

Group E's France and Switzerland make this the FIRST with no Spanish-speaking country team moving on to round of 16. :(

SECOND hat trick of the Cup is by Shaqiri!
