Asik and JLin for Dragic

    If were goin to trade LIN and ASIK. Why not for Goran Dragic?

    Beverly/Dragic/Harden/Parsons/Dwight would be an incredibly fun team to watch but I don't think we would have much defense. I think Asik is more valuable to this team than Dragic would be. He has to have a lot of value in this league.

    What's your problem? You don't think they would give up their best player (and arguably one of the most effective in the league last year) for a controversial and completely inconsistent back-up point guard plus a pouting rebounder with cement hands? Think of the money they could spend on those two alone and you can see why the Suns would obviously make the trade.

    Agreed although I dont think Asik would be pouting if he was starting. He's probably a good fit there- but not worth Dragic.

    From what I've seen out of Phoenix, they'll almost certainly be adding Lin and Asik fairly soon. I imagine Asik will get a 4yr deal at 25mil and Lin will be the 8th man - 2yrs at 3mil per year. The Suns take our cast offs and get something out of them. At a bargain. Royce White will probably be an all star over there in 2020.

    When dumb gets dumber... we would have to pay a team to take Lin. Asik is worth a mid first rounder at best IMO.

    Yeah, absolutely, the only potential Asik trade I'd accept would be, if Miami and OKC somehow step together and trade us both James and Durant and a top 40 protected second rounder straight up for Omer.
