No, he never said that. Always put Houston there with LA. Back in 2010, he was the first to break the news about the Big 3 days before Bosh even joined.

I'm pretty sure LBJ is never going back to Cleveland after Gilbert's stupid open letter.

I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE

I'm not saying he would go back, but if a wife says honey please, (and the have Love or Melo with Irving), he might.

So ESPN is running with the title possible LBJ and Melo joining the lakers. Where the hell they come up with that? Forget sources we are Cali.

we probably had the most positive "cons", chemistry takes time (duh?), not sure if he knows anyone (well except wolverine), team without him hasn't won anything (lol)

I like how the article says spurs and clippers are not going to happen..but those are the top 5 destinations..and we just got dissed because it will take a year to win. OH NO!

So these arguments aren't unique to Houston. If lebron goes ANYWHERE else he'll have a adjustment period. Same with the bulls. Same with the clips. Whoever.....the only argument this supports is for lebron to stay with wade and bosh.

The second point is about relationships. If lebron wants to play w friends then it's miami or clips (but that road is much harder to take)

The third point is fit.....silly because lebron fits anywhere.

Last point is about it'd be a leap of faith to join the rockets. But that's true for every team, probably more so for every other team. Staying in Miami would be a huge step of faith regarding wades age. Bulls would be another huge step of faith with roses knees. Clips would have to lose Blake and pieces and that'd be a step of faith with just cp3 and lbj. At the end of the day if market and friendships aren't nearly as important to lebron as a team with the best chance to win it all, Houston has to be a top consideration. Everyone else including miami would be a bigger risk IMO.

Isn't LeBron the same guy who got the Cavs to hire a new coach for him and then bolted for Miami immediately?

ESPN will always mention the Lakers. Dont be surprised if they air a special segment before the season titled "How the Lakers will contend this season" or some absurd hyped up article on how they are still "relevant".

That can't be true. LeBron will only stay if you draft a rookie PG?

The Clippers are the biggest competition for the Rockets in recruiting Lebron if he decides to leave the Heat. Lebron and CP3 are best friends, Lebron's wife is from San Diego, and a Griffin, CP3, Lebron big 3 is possible if they got rid of DeAndre Jordan, JJ Redick and probably Jamal Crawford. None of whom would seem to be any more difficult to trade than Lin and Asik. The problem is that those players create much bigger holes for the Clippers to fill once they are gone than Lin and Asik do for the Rockets.

Curious what moves they could make? What assets could they trade to move up high enough to get Napier?

Yeah trading away your starting defensive center leaves a pretty big hole. Similar problem as the Miami big three

Haha. Even if true, which I doubt, this would reek of desperation.

You guys haven't figured out yet that we're not in the running for Lebron?
Only way he leaves Miami is for a market like LA.

Ny and Chicago are the favorites for Melo.

Maybe this summer will bring clutchfans back to earth and realize not everyone is dying to make deals with us. There are 29 other teams
