2 thing: Your written word is difficult to understand.

3 thing: I didn't start a thread... just continued in the one that was already discussing this topic.

4 thing: If you are busting on doc rocket, you're missing the point of the clutchfans forum.

Although we don't expect a move in the draft for Rockets, Doc keeps giving hints.

Why did he hashtag NBA draft in a tweet about trades?

I don't want both. I would prefer to keep our core and add either LBJ or Melo. I wouldn't trade a 24 year old Harden who is about to his prime to get both LBJ and Melo. One of them added to our team while dealing Lin, Asik and possibly Parsons would be plenty sufficient.

IF anything does go down, the Rockets will be making moves soon. IF the Rockets do make some moves on draft night then something will definitely be in the works for some FA.

clicked on the forum, did any of you read their responses? some of them want lin, and wonder why we would do this.. but then some realize it would help us make a bigger move.

my favorite quote on their forum:

all rockets care about is Lebron if this deal has any legs at all - Warriors in 2014 2014-06-23 16:35:51 (40 views)

lbj, harden, dwight would tear the **** outta the league. no need to follow nba for a few years. - fried ankles and nipples 2014-06-23 16:41:18 (55 views)

This is actually a fantastic idea if we could get that done. Clears cap room for LeBron or Melo, fills void from Parsons with Barnes. I say we go for it if that's legit - worth the gamble if we are confident in bringing in LeBron or Melo.

How would that clear cap room? We are slightly over the cap right now, so we need to take pretty much no salary back at all in order to offer 20 million a year. Lee makes what, 10? 12? Barned something between 3 and 5? So we'd send out close to 18 million and take back 13-18 million? That doesn't help us at all capwise.

The only reason to do a deal like that would be, if we had to flip the incoming players/picks on a trade or s&t. Though I am not sure Barnes is more valuable than Parsons, or Lee being more valuable than Asik.

Rockets will remain the big two. Rockets will pick up 2 new players, i.e. Ariza (no saying Ariza but similar). Rockets will trade to get a 10 ten player in one of the deepest drafts. Add to the fact that they will get a late 1st round pick and a second round pick, again this year is a unique year in draft talent depth. They will have depth, role players, and will be locked in to a line up that will make a run for the next 7 years. There is a chance for Love instead of the top 10 pick too.

Melo and Lebron are not cuming to Houston. Hot, flat, ugly, boring, and meant for engineers, doctors , and lawyers (like cockroaches they follow the first two). Melo and LBJ (blow job in spanish) are going to L.A, Chicago, New York, and maybe Dallas or Boston (hence they have regional ESPNs for these markets). Yeah Yeah they want to win, think collusion.

Well, Lee is an all star 4, and Barnes is a better defender than Parsons(I really have no clue if he is or not, but hoping if this trade were to go through). Your team would improve in my opinion.

That clears absolutely zero cap space. In fact, we would be taking back more salary and ensuring we had no cap space for 2015. There is literally no advantage for the Rockets, unless you think Barnes is going to be a stud far better than Parsons or those assets immediately get you Love. However, if the latter were true, why wouldn't GSW just send that to Minnesota for Love for themselves?
