I had this same thought today. I wasn't able to keep up with the matches today at all. When I got home and saw the round the round of 16 matchups on ESPN's crawl, I thought I had seen it wrong when I saw Greece.
Heung Min said very well, matador defense and transition between O and D is very bad. Koo Jae Chol and Heung Min are good forwards or offensive midfielders

Ah, there was contact in the penalty call but the ivory coast player did not initiate it, seemed like it was just the way the player loaded up that he caught the player behind him. This is why FIFA sucks ballz.
Too bad a trash team like Greece lucked in through having an easy group and a late penalty. They even had easy qualifying group too. I guess they're due for some luck.
Trash? How are they trash? I don't get it. EVERYONE in the cup has the same chance and can play better or worse. If they don't it's not the other team's luck.
question -- do people really believe soccer is a "worldwide sport"? You could easily make an argument that it isn't. 1. The world's two most populous countries (China, India) aren't major players, and you could argue soccer is only one of many popular sports there. Especially not in India. 2. In the world's largest economic power, the US, soccer is the 5th or 6th most popular sport and certainly doesn't attract its best athletes. 3. It's a clear leader in Europe, Latin America and Africa. But elsewhere? One of many sports. Japan? Middle East? Southeast Asia? Australia?
luck noun \ˈlək\: the things that happen to a person because of chance : the accidental way things happen without being planned Are you really saying this phenomenon of "luck" does not exist? Or are you just saying it because Mexico is lucky to be in the World Cup? Mexico got lucky prior to the World CUp thanks to the US. But in the World Cup, they've been rather unlucky due to bad referreeing. IMHO.
No, no one believes it's a worldwide sport and the few that do are idiots as you clearly pointed out. No argument needed to show that it isn't "worldwide," it's clear. Excellent post in the "2014 World Cup - Brazil " thread by the way.
Eh sorry. They have always been trash. Park the bus and hope for the best. Been doing it for decades.
"Soccer" has the most fans in the world. As far as China and India go it is the second most popular sport in each. First in China is basketball and the first in India is cricket. Saying soccer isn't popular there is like saying basketball or baseball isn't popular in the US or rugby isn't popular in the UK. http://sporteology.com/top-10-popular-sports-world/ as far as a worldwide sport, soccer is as close as you are going to get it's easy for you to make arguments when you don't use facts or logic, huh texxx?
