Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess).

6-24 Aaron Harang, RHP vs. Scott Feldman, RHP 7:10

6-25 Alex Wood, LHP vs. Collin McHugh, RHP 7:10

6-26 Mike Minor, LHP vs. Jarred Cosart, RHP 1;10

Damnit. I've picked the wrong 2 springer dingers to miss live recently. :(

"Springer needs to get his **** together." -- Buck Turgidson ;)

That was an absolute bomb... good to see him flashing that power at home.

I swear to god if Grossman doesn't start swinging at some of these first pitch strikes his MLB career is gonna be very short lived.

Grossman sucking is great for Luhnow on so many levels.

I'm starting to come to the realization that the results don't really matter in seasons that they don't put the best possible team on the field opening day.

With that statement, I'm not sure what would matter then...

Nothing. When there's no pressure or expectation to win, turds like Grossman are gonna get a long leash. I've come to accept it.

He is beyond the event horizon, he (and us) just don't realize it yet.

Well, Grossman did have some success after last years' demotion/re-promotion.... looks like Luhnow tried to re-create that scenario. He also likely wants to somewhat justify the contract offer he made to him... even though the club was lucky he rejected it.

At this point, I just don't see what separates him from other guys like Wates or Hoes. All on the 40 man roster, all spent time in AAA, all about the same age.

Jeez Feldman... way to let the Uptons finger-cuff you (when they don't do squat against everybody else).

I was going to say Feldman should do quite well in the NL, against NL competition... but looks like he's just not having the same bite or movement on his slow pitches that he had to start the year.

Feldman id like a batting practice pitcher, sometimes they just happen to hit the ball at somebody.
