Lol and what would that bench look like? Lebron thought he had no help in Miami it'd be worse with the Clippers and Paul has a lot of tread on those tires.

Forget LeBron playing with Melo; Melo really doesn't want any cut in pay, if he can help it.

    http://www.rantsports.com/nba/2014/...n-prediction-for-lebron-james-in-free-agency/

Seems like this screams Dwight all the way up to the plane, I doubt Ronny knows anything though but if he isn't alluding to Dwight with the plane and the center it's a nice coincidence.

I wouldn't expect Doc to say anything less publicly.

Not really sure what to believe privately. Logically giving up Griffin a net positive. And it would be the best player the Heat could get in a deal.

Not to mention LeBron is really good friends with Paul and respects Doc. Probably likes LA the city as well.

Still I doubt he leaves Miami for that but it's probably an option he gives some thought over.

Of course I think we have a better team in place but still haven't heard any rumours we're under much consideration yet.

They don't have to trade them to the Heat. Clippers could find other deals to send Crawford, Jordan, Redick, Dudley and whoever else out to create cap space, much like Chicago or Houston.

    Dear Lebron,

If you come to Houston, I can make a crappy photoshop of you having fun on your own plane too!

Without a sign and trade, the Clippers would have to cut almost 13 mil worth of salary before they could even begin clearing room for Lebron....there's no chance in hell they land Lebron without losing either Griffin or CP3 unless they can pretty much gut the rest of the roster in other trades while not taking any salary back. IMO it's VERY unlikely Lebron heads to LA without the Heat agreeing to a sign and trade and I'd think one of Griffin or CP3 would have to be included to make them bite.

If Wade is the second best player on the Heat it doesn't matter if he's making $20 million or $2 million that team will either lose in the finals or eventually be passed by Chicago if Rose is ever healthy and they add Melo.

This means the Clips have to clear out over $40 million of salary to sign Lebron outright. They simply do not have enough first round picks to give away to make that happen.

The degree of difficulty is much higher considering the contracts with multiple years and the number of contracts. And of course they'll be left with only three or four players and no center.

But it's LA so no one will talk about that in the media. Even the Lakers are "in the discussion" despite making absolutely no sense.

Rockets hypothetical pitch according to Jonathan Feigen:

Rockets will argue they can offer what the Heat offered 4 years ago. A big three ready to win multiple championships. The best shooting guard, best center and best small forward/player in the league and they can do it while keeping last seasons starting five.

Hard to argue with that (plus no state tax), but has there been any reports/rumors that Lebron's even interested in Houston? If he is, then who can offer more than that?

Well that works because Lebron has been playing PF for 2 years now.

Camelo wants to go Chicago for Tom Thibodeau.
Lebron wants to go LAC for Doc Rivers.
So is there any big fish want to come Houston for McHale? :(
