I laughed for like 5 minutes straight. I really respect how hard Les, Morey and the rockets organization has been working to build a championship team. The media we don't need their hype just get the championships.

Isn't the eastern conference finals on espn..and west is on TNT...?

It's in the best interest of ESPN to keep Chicago, Miami and NYC competitive.

And likely end up losing in 3 or 4 more finals and have that be his legacy. I think that matters probably as much as the little bit of extra money he might make by sticking around in Miami.

That presumes he would even make more money. The Heat want the big 3 to take pay cuts so they can add more depth around him like the Spurs have done with Parker, Ginobili and Duncan. If the Heat offer him more money than any other team, they almost certainly can't add any pieces that are any better than the role players they currently have. So why take a paycut if you can go to another team with at least an equal chance of winning it all and get paid more? The Heat may be the odds on favorites to resign Lebron, but if they resign him I expect it is because all 3 decided to take pay cuts AND the owner agreed to pay the massive luxury tax fees needed to add the best depth possible.

We were probably second for most of the time behind the Lakers, usually pretty evenly ranked with a few other teams. Then as it got closer to July 1 we took the lead.

If the Clippers are serious about trading Blake Griffin to get Lebron it could certainly happen. That's just about the only way I could see it.

They're not, but would you rather let lbj walk for free or get a BG back? I'd take Griffin.
