No finishers on either squad. Korea has never scored more than 2 goals in a match in their entire World Cup history. Says a lot.

Watching Japan is excruciating. So much possession, good build-up play until the final third where they completely fall apart. They need a real goal scorer.

I'm in envy of Colombia. Not because of their play, but because of how easy they've got it. Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan and now Uruguay. That's a piece of cake for them.

Chile's last 6 games in World Cup have been Spain, Brazil, Australia, Spain, Netherlands and Brazil. We have the worst luck!!

Suarez should be banned from the rest of this world cup for his disgraceful actions. That was disgusting and I feel terrible for Italy fans. Also, nice job Mexico & Costa Rica for making it through! I will always root for CONCACAF teams when they're not playing the U.S. Thanks too to Germany for doing so much for U.S. soccer :)

Don't know if sarcastic. ^ [IMG]
That's an insult to Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan, and Uruguay.
There is no such thing as "luck". If you're good, you're good. If you are worthy of winning The World Cup, you can beat anyone and you don't need "luck." Seeded with the strongest or the weakest, you can win it once you're in it.

    I'm completely aware of that.

This is just an ignorant way of looking at things. It's called the luck of the draw. Have you never heard of such a thing? A team that was eliminated like Croatia or Spain would have likely come out first in Group C or H. Not only that, but if Spain were in group C, they'd likely go on to at least the round of 8. But they didn't get lucky in the draw and had to play against Chile and Holland, making them the first team eliminated.

If you want it near and dear to your heart, Mexico would have come out first in a number of these groups. Which would make it easier for them to finally get past the round of 16.

You know why Argentina are favorites? It's not because of their play, but because of how extremely easy their road is to get to the semi-finals. It's luck, man. And every champion needs luck.

James Rodriguez is right up there with Robben for the Golden Ball. He's playing fantastic soccer right now.

That's for completely random things, where you don't have to face your opponents and prove your worth on the field.
Nope. That makes no difference and I never wish for "easier" or "more difficult" opponents. Either my team will play better football versus their opponents, whether SPAIN, CRC, CIV, your English Teacher, or SUI.
    Nope.

They had a tough time scoring against Iran. We shouldn't be calling teams WEAK and EASY. You don't know what they can be capable of once on the big stage. Everyone has a chance.

If you continue to wish for "luck", you'll never be as good as you can be.

    THE REAL KING JAMES!!!
