This thread got off hand quickly. Back on topic: This scumbag Suarez is a disgrace to the greatest league in the world - EPL and football in general. Liverpool MUST make the right choice and send him away to Spain where his actions will be more in place alongside Busquets peek-a-boo or Cristiano's diving and whining, else just not let him step on an English football stadium again.
Its a shame a scumbag like him is talented in the sport. I enjoy watching him play but damn is he a pathetic excuse for a human being.
It's amazing how hypocritical you are. You accuse me a few months ago of taking personal problems outside of the D&D, yet here you are doing the same thing. You are the cowardly troll who hides behind his computer all day and takes shots at people. I'm sure you are a real joy of a person in real life. I mentioned illegal immigrants because they come from a soccer-centric culture and constitute a large portion of soccer fans in the USA. They also heavily favor Mexican soccer over the USA. These are facts, not opinions.
What makes the whole fiasco not even remotely tolerable is that this is the third time he has literally taken a good bite off someone. First it was Bakkal when he was with Ajax vs PSV, completely bit his ear off, next Ivanovic against Chelsea and now at the biggest stage of all - the football WC. This is not a good advertisement for the greatest ever sporting event and for the most watched sport. FIFA must act immediately and hit him with a scale-able long term punishment. He knows he is done for this WC but it better be much more severe.
If I'm getting bitten and my initial reaction is to throw a right hook, that's self defense. I'm not talking about waiting 15 min...I'm talking about throwing a punch within a second of it happening.

Not facts, lots of illegal immigrants are not from Mexico and heavily favor the USMNT over Mexico. Even quite a few of the ones from Mexico who came here illegally support the USMNT as well. Don't throw misguided information out there as a fact.
That's how I feel about it too BUT the bad thing about the sport is the ref(kinda like in every other sport) only ever seems to see the retaliation. Unlike other sports (Basketball/NBA) no video replay here for the refs. David Beckham and Diego Simeone in 98 is a good example. I wouldn't begrudge a player for retaliating on the pitch but if the player sees the ref doesn't even send Suarez on then you gotta know it's go time once the final whistle goes and the teams get in the tunnel where no tv cameras will be recording. I'm talking break the damn Uruguay dressing room down if need be or go wait by the team bus a la Jerry Stackhouse-Kirk Snyder or Melo-KG(even though that wasn't really a fight). Either way, that's the kind of crap that if opposing players keep taking and not doing $hit about then they better not be surprised when he does it again in Spain, or wherever he goes and he doesnt get a red card and just gets a suspension after the match. At some point some opposing player needs to put a stop to it since it seems his teammates and coaches don't care enough to do so.
There's no reason WHATSOEVER to send this thread into an "illegal vs. legal" immigration D&D, sir. NONE. This is SOCCER/FUTBOL/FOOTBALL. Take your politics somewhere else.
Yeah, I think that's what FIFA is thinking. BAD MOVE. Yeah, at THAT point, I would agree it is, but it was mentioned that retaliation in the tunnel would be "self defense" and it clearly isn't at that point. Now you're just looking for vengeance... albeit might be justified. I don't condone EITHER action, but at least try to do it when there aren't cameras watching! Right?
You are right. I should not have fallen for the bait. I apologize to you, Swoly, and the rest on this thread. Mexico, after a pitiful performance during the Hex, has really impressed in Brazil. I guess I shouldn't be that surprised...Mexico seems to step up in strange ways in the WC.
Because they don't have help from the referees like they did in 2002. Really though it's because they lack finishing. Have good possession and movement but can never get that final finish in.
