I can see Bosh and Lebron staying in Miami. But, if Lebron jumps ship, I don't see how Bosh could follow him. He makes too much for the Lebron suitors to accommodate. So, I think he goes to a runner-up in the Lebron sweepstakes, and Houston seems like a likely option in that scenario.

And, why would Lowry want to come back?

to get Lowry we would have to over pay as Toronto has no star player making the max and are way under the cap so they can go very high and way over pay to keep him. Lowry might want to come here but I'm sure he would want the Rockets to match the Toronto offer. Are you prepared to pay Lowry 5 years 60 million? 12 million each year for what will be 13-14 points a game? Obviously they would probably take Lin in a Sign & Trade. Lin + #25 pick at max salary slot is just enough to match 12 million starting salary on Lowry.

No way Lebron and Bosh don't stay with Miami. That's all for sure.

So I would prefer Melo over Lowry. We already have a superior PG... and he has a beard.

Let's look at this from the players point of view.. Perhaps LeBron is leaking that they don't exactly love the idea of playing with Dwight because he wants to be wooed? He may want to see who wants him the most.. That or maybe Melo told him that he's going to Chicago and LeBron has been told by Wade that he'll opt in... Thus forcing LeBron to move on..

We need a point guard, badly! Did you see how our two guys played during the playoffs? Look, I love Beverley for everything most players and his teammates lack: fire, heart, will, determination, that crazy edge and no-nonsense type of play. However, he's not a great point. Lowry could run our team like crazy, is a court leader, has the vision, the heart, the mouth and the right attitude now. A huge bonus is: he knows McHale and knows our 'system'.

I would rather we go for:
    1) Lowry
    2) Frye
    3) Bledsoe
    4) Morrow
    5) Andre Miller
    6) Garcia
    7) Hawes
    8) Gortat
    9) Tucker
    10) Jermaine O'neal

People that want to sign Lowry and THEN trade for Millsap are forgetting we have no cap room as currently constructed.

Let's say we wanted to keep Howard, Harden, Asik, Jones, Parsons, Beverley, Canaan, and Daniels. That leaves only $9.9MM to offer Lowry... which doesn't get it done. Even if you trade away Asik and Jones and a first for Millsap on draft night, you only have $10.3MM to offer Lowry.

If we signed Lowry, that would mean we traded Asik and Lin for cap space and it would probably be for $13MM+.

I would love Lowry on this team, I just wonder who would be moved. Beverly and Lowry? Who would start? Beverly to me doesn't seem like a bench player. Lowry I think is an overall better player, but I feel Beverly is better starting.

I realize salary wouldn't likely allow this scenario, but I think Lowry/Lin would be a much better unit overall and I LOVE Beverly, and have never been a big Lin fan. I feel like Lin's run and gun off the bench would still truly benefit this team, he just needs to continue working on his shot and confidence.

I'd love Lebron, who wouldn't? But I don't see him coming here. Not because we wouldn't win with him, but why risk it? Why, as you head towards the tail end of your prime, would you move from the East to West? If you did, and you're a player like Lebron, why would you go anywhere other than California?

Melo? Not with the current team. He certainly improved his defense and rebounding, but he is still a ball-stopping perimeter player who doesn't like to play defense for 48 minutes. Do we really want to team him up with Harden?

If I could get my way, I'd look for strong vets and sign them for one year. Then go after Love (if we can't get him now without gutting EVERYONE), or LA.

ahhhh, I just can't wait until the start of the season!!!

Lowry will start every single game if not injured and log 32+ minutes.

If the Clippers are able to sign Lebron, that's where he's going (imo). Big market, great city, great point guard (President of Players Union), great team, great coach (he respects), great big racist white man who won't be able to enjoy this potential epic season, with great players which happen to be negros, who can't wait to win their first championship without the now ex owner benefiting from it.

Lowry is not getting any offers over $10 million and if he does get one higher it will be from Toronto which has a crazy high tax because of Canada.

I think Lowry would sign here for $10 mil. Easy.

There is room for only one K-Love in Houston, and that's me. :)

Does Toronto have a bird right for Lowry? If there is, then Lowry can not sign here for less than Toronto offered, I could be wrong though.

That's my point. Lowry is a better overall player, and deserves the starting position. However, that relegates Beverly to the bench, which I don't think is his strong suit. Just like I think Lin is better off the bench.

Why would Lebron join the Clippers when he is the first NBA player to openly voice his opinions against Donlad Sterling?

Lowry is unrestricted. Bird Rights or not, he can sign wherever he wants.

    -Play for a winner
    -Familiar with Houston/organization
-On record saying he wishes things would have ended differently here (posted earlier in this thread I think)
-Rockets offer should be competitive assuming Lin and/or Asik are dealt

Bev put some wear and tear on his knee too. Having Lowry share the load would help him
