Trade Parsons for #8 pick, then flip that to Minny who will draft Julius Randle as their next great PF.
This might actually cause some problems since I would imagine the Kings also want a power forward (maybe they trade the 8th pick to the Hawks if they decide to blow things up?) Rondo for Landry, Aaron Gray, and the 8th pick? I could see that. Or maybe Milwaukee could send some of their guys? Not a lot of teams with veterans left that are looking to move downward. Would Phoenix be willing to part with Dragic? Maybe Memphis could try to trade some of their guys? Orlando? New York? The big problem for Sacramento is that they don't have any thing to return besides the 8th pick and it's hard to salary match without any halfway decent players or expirings. They either have to keep it, or give the pick away for substantially cheaper than it should be (knowing the Kings, probably the latter).
The Kings are perfect trade partners. They have Travis Outlaw's expiring at $3 million and John Salmon's expiring at $7 million.
you know...the rockets did have a workout with marcus smart. morey has scouted him over the year. i wonder if we are one of those trade partners. Also... this could be how we get in on the love deal. Too many factors to try and figure out the scenario but a 3 way with Minnesota might be in the works
It would make sense. I'd look at us moving up to this spot. I'd look at the 76ers . I would look at the Pelicans who are said to be interested in getting back in the draft. If we were to make a move with the Wolves, my money would be at least 1 of these 3 teams would be involved.
