    Also worth noting that in the 10 games he did play, Rose shot 35% and had a disastrous PER of 9. And it's not as if he rushed back early... that was after 18 months of ACL recovery and a clean bill of health from everyone.

    When the 2014 season starts, it will have been over 2.5 years since Rose was an elite player. This fantasy that he's automatically going to go back into 2010 mode is bizarre. To me, that's a risk that a Carmelo-level player simply cannot take with his last major contract.

    Let TMac say what he wants. Please note he wasn't involved in the recruitment of Dwight. Now if HO or Clyde tells him to go Chi-town, maybe they know Bron is coming. Until then, TMac should worry about throwing strikes vs giving BBall advise.

    When TMAC was injured and out of the game, the Rockets made their 1st round playoffs success for the first time in recent years.
    When TMAC left the Spurs, they won their 5th championship.
    Carmelo should well know TMAC never bring you good luck.

    Rockets fans held out hope for Yao's return despite evidence that he simply couldn't stay healthy, so it's easy to understand why people -- and especially Bulls fans -- are slotting a healthy Rose into their starting lineup. But I think it's more than likely that things will end the same. Rose won't be able to stay on the court, ever.

    I'm not sure Carmelo is smart enough to realize that.
