Translation: If you still want to work for ESPN, don't EVER EVER EVER mention Houston as a possible landing spot... We don't like them!

Lebron put it out there, that before he decided to go to Miami, he tried to recruit numerous star players to come to Cleveland and no one was interested. It was a major factor in why he left. How well can he recruit to Cleveland now when he isn't even a member of the team at the moment? It's the east, so Kyrie, Lebron and the number one pick could be at least as good as the Cavs were before Lebron left, but they would be very unlikely to beat whoever came out of the west unless that number one pick turns out to be a superstar this year. Not impossible, but banking on the unknown performance of a rookie after they drafted Bennett last year isn't a slam dunk either. Recruiting some other star to come there and join him when Lebron failed to do that when he was actually on the team seems hard to believe.

Now Miami has overtaken Houston as a landing spot (if not Chicago or New York).

Frank Isola says Carmelo's first choice is to return to New York(at a full max deal) but if not, Chicago or Miami.

We have been thru this with Dwight already. Nobody expected the Heat to do what they did until it happened. At one time it was a virtual "lock" that Orlando would trade Dwight to the Nets. Point being that all the rumors are entertaining to read, but until the actual news that a trade or signing happens, there is more misinformation and opinions than real clues about what is going to happen.

    My "guess"

    The Bulls get Kevin Love

Anthony tries to con Phil Jackson into giving him the max by threatening to sign with the Rockets.

Knicks not out of it but Phil has to want him to stay. Their are suggestions Phil won't be heartbroken if he leaves. Knicks have to make Carmelo feel more wanted.

The vibe I get is this is something (the Bulls) been working on since they've traded Luol Deng. They're quietly confident they can trump anyone's offer. We'll see a variety of suitors. Bulls feel like they're in the lead and I think they're right.

The Bulls don't want to amnesty Boozer. Reinsdorf doesn't want to pay him to go away. He wants to trade Boozer.

I doubt anyone will take Boozer off their hands

I'm fed up with this BS. Not participating in this rat race like I did with DH last summer. If he comes to Houston, he comes to Houston. I'll be ecstatic. If not, **** him.

Put Morey in the room with Carmelo and then we will see.

Maybe it doesn't work out but our chances with these guys have always hinged on being able to sell them during the presentations.

We need Dream, Clyde, Dwight, James, Chandler, Bev, Moses and etc. We need Slim Thugg.

Marcellus Wiley just called Carmelo to Houston on some shouting heads ESPN show, over strong opposition from Max Kellerman.

    I'm convinced

    It's happening graphic.

Then I guess that cheap owner is gonna have to pay him to play for someone else.

And that cheap owner probably gonna have to pay to see Rose sit on the bench in a suit again, ha.

And that dude Carmelo wants to play for said cheap owner and said injured point guard.

Good for him. Just don't complain when there is no help, no supporting cast. :)

"Mr. Reinsdorf, my point guard is injured and the supporting cast sucks! Can you go out and get someone?!"

"Sorry Carmelo, we kinda had to gut the roster to get you and well, we've spent as much as we could on the current roster. No can do."

Forced your way out of Denver and to New York because you couldn't wait 'til free agency. "But, but, but Mr. Dolan, where is my supporting cast!?" | "Well Carmelo, we had to trade it all away to acquire you."

Yeah, yeah, I may come across as "bitter" but I'm not really a fan of Carmelo. Mehh.

"How could you not want Carmelo?!?!?!?" Heh.

Agree. Wake me up on June 30th(Big three opt out; not that it's likely any of them come here) and July 1st.

Agree. Who would take on $16M in Carlos Boozer without sending salary back? I don't even see someone doing it for BOTH picks #16 & #19. And even if someone did, the Bulls ownership would have to be really cheap to give up two very good assets, just to dump that Boozer contract without having to pay it. That should be a warning sign for Melo.

The Magic certainly wouldn't take it back and give up Afflalo. Bill Simmons looks dumber by the tweet.

The media has ruined this for us. If you aren't a Miami fan or a fan of a major market team like New York, LA, or even Chicago (which doesn't make any sense since they haven't done **** in free agency in years), all you can expect is for the biased assclowns of ESPN to completely laugh off anybody going anywhere else. It's pathetic, and downright insulting to the other 25 franchises that only 5 teams matter to the national media. **** them.

Let's see if LeDiva or Marshmallow have the balls to leave the Eastern Conference.
