Funny how Dallas scrapin for scraps still manages to do better in the playoffs then Houston who gets exactly who they wanted. Houston fans sure can be cocky for no accomplishing much.
Both teams lost in the first round. I guess that holds as much weight as when Rockets fans celebrated for taking the Lakers to 7 games in 2009. Did each team get an award?! Agree. Rockets land Dwight Howard - star/best free agent - win 54 games - 4th seed - 1st round exit Mavs land Monta Ellis, Jose Calderon, Devin Harris, Sam Dalembert, Wayne Ellington, Brandan Wright, DeJuan Blair(everyone points and laughs/mocks them) - win 49 games - 8th seed - 1st round exit. So while they're "scraping the bottom"(not really), they have a damn good coach who finds a way to pull it all together.
Not anti-Morey. He has a decent shot at the big fish, but it is by no means even close to certainty. Seems to be bad form to laugh at other teams for supposedly scraping the bottom when your team may well end up in the same position because you can't really predict what individual human beings will do and how all the cap clearance and what not will shake out. This is especially true when the team you are laughing at won the title in 2011 and your team has won one playoff series in nearly 20 years.
that may be the case, but Bosh would also be under contract for longer (at most likely a higher salary) than Gasol.
