Rose WAS thought of as a humble guy.

He is an after thought in Chicago now, and has literally no pull in the Bulls organization after his strong arm efforts to control the organization when he was healthy. He has missed to years and the expectations for his future are limited.

It has nothing to do with empathy and everything about Rose wanting control. He doesn't like how Anthony conducts himself and reading between the lines, I am not sure he likes having another player taking 20+ a game from him.

For all the BS being spouted about Harden wanting to control the ball, Rose is a WORSE offender.

The talking heads never think the Rockets have a chance in the off-season. I'm skeptical we can get one of the big fish this summer just because it seams so unlikely that any franchise can pull the big fish 3 summers in a row. But Daryl Morey has consistently shown the talking heads usually don't know what they are talking about.

 

I've been saying, only believe reports from reliable or credible sources. People have been running with what Mitch Lawrence put on that NYDN site and it made it's way all the way to ESPN 1000 Chicago. Mitch Lawrence is one of the worst I've ever seen. He has no reputation for being right at all and I've seen that he's been wrong, ALOT over the past few years.

If it isn't Amick, WOJ, Stein, Spears and maybe Berger it's BS.

 

The not recruiting part isn't a big deal, the "I want Love over Melo" part could be.

However, in reality, I don't think the Bulls or Anthony really care what Rose wants.... Rose is being pushed aside by the Bulls anyway. Only way he gets any say in the future is by playing at a high level.

 

That map is funny. The only thing that tells us is that ESPN viewers are responding to ESPN constantly pushing out any and every piece of conjecture that has Melo going to the Bulls.

Their best case scenario is to have stories that stir up the people of the first and third largest metros, so they're going to run with anything that helps them get views and clicks.

 

That's why you need a 3rd partner...like say the 76ers.

He may be right... but it would be just because he guessed right. He has no inside information.

That would be ideal for the Rockets. Love goes to the East (and away from GSW) and we move to clear frontrunner for Carmelo.
