Getting out of the group was one thing, but getting the top draw from the group is another... the 2nd place team in group G is going to have to face an absolute murderer's row in the field of 16... so close... I'm just disgusted.

So are you saying Jeremy Lin/Michael Bradley was fatigued and that's why he couldn't kick that ball away

Not to mention his Wiffs at goal, twice

I'm disappointed of coarse, but if you would have asked me at halftime if I would take a draw I would have taken it. A loss would been killer, I'm proud of the way we played.

Ghana looks like the better team, but Portugal is the better team. Totally unpredictable if you ask me. A draw would be ideal. But no idea what is going to happen.

The USA has looked goo enough to compete with Germany, but Germany too is the better team. Germany looking equally as good as USA. Seems like USA should have 3 points right now. So 4 is pretty good if you ask me. Ironically think ghana outplayed us and we won. And we outplayed Portugal but tied.

As of of right now though I'd say we can play with anyone. USA will not be pushed over. and that makes us very dangerous to win this entire thing.

Yes it was Cameron, but that ball never should have gotten across midfield as discussed earlier

So if Ghana wins and we lose we're out?

If that's true then it's not looking too good cause that's the most likely thing that will happen

Damn USMNT grrrrrr... This is why I was hoping for a Germany win yesterday.
Now, we will have Germany all out against us to get 1st seed and Ghana most likely will beat Portugal.. f***

If there was a Shaqtin a fool for soccer Michael Bradley would be the Javale McGee of the segment. Can't stand watching him play.

jones got beat on that last goal not cameron first of all.

second bradley has to tackle ronaldo in that situation. its the last PLAY of the fkin game let your defense reset and take a yellow for the team.

fk man im so pissed at bradley

Portugal is gonna take apeshiat on Ghana, because that's their only hope. I am not too concerned about the result of that match. Let's hope a draw. And likely, Portugal is going to score 2 to 3 goals over Ghana. My concern though is the US not to give up too many goals to Germany. Germany is capable of doing that even when they don't really try.

If I'm looking at this correctly, if the US and Germany draw, both move on with Germany taking the 1st seed.

Has there ever been a "rigged" tie before? Or matches that seem to imply that such rigging as occurred?

Germany does not need to win to top the group. They can tie us and still top the group based on goal difference.

I expect Germany to play somewhere in the middle of 1) going all out And 2) playing defensive. Not sure if they want to go all out and give up an early goal on a US counter attack. They wouldn't want to risk 90 minutes of play seeking a tie, only to give up an unlucky goal.

I think he ran out of gas in the end, but still, WTFFFF was he doing, and he lost the ball already once or twice in the stoppage. Sigh...

It depends how much Ghana wins by and how much we lose by. If Ghana wins by 1 and we lose by 1, its still tied. Then it goes to number of goals scored. Its not clear cut. Head to heads should be the third tie breaker if you ask me.

I'm more blaming Bradley for not doing something with the ball and just losing it there at the end. If Beasley fouls CR7, they still get a free kick from close in, so they'd still have a decent chance there too.

Man, overall.. a draw's ok, but a let down.

Agree. Jones shot was shielded, bending, in the corner and unstoppable

Jones' shot was WC USA legendary status IMO.

Now we need to beat the ****in Germans because of Jeremy Lin . We can do it!!!
