I keep saying it....like Dwight, if winning is #1 on LeBrons list, we are the clear favorite.

Bingo. Just like there were multiple deals ready when Asik demanded a trade during the season. If it looks like we're desperate to move guys there is no reason for the other teams to help us. They're going to milk us for everything they can get. Too many teams have new coaches and/or management that need to prove themselves to keep their jobs long term.

So LeBron is opting out? Or is it just Moreys hope?

To think we can't dump Asik for a future draft pick is absurd. Think of the Blazers - the addition of Robin freaking Lopez, obviously with general development, turned them from a lotto team to a second round playoff team. NOH, Charlotte, Sacramento all could be interested in an elite rim protector. Specifically Charlotte or Atlanta - aid in getting Melo/James out of East? Hell yeah. If Indiana feels they can move Hibbert I actually expect them to be first on phone.

For Lin, if we have to tack on Jones, DMo, or a draft pick, who cares? It would be for either Melo or James.

You know what, I'd wish Jeremy the best, that'd be cool if it happened.

But may God have mercy on the souls of that team's fans

That's impossible, basketballholic made it very clear that Parsons wasn't to be dealt.

I can't see Phil Jackson being a fan of Lin, especially if they're going to run the triangle.

In a S&T for Melo, or possibly as a separate deal?

I absolutely believe this. No different than the Asik auction earlier. Create a narrative that these guys are in demand to find takers. That way Morey doesn't look as desperate in the trades and doesn't have to include as many "sweeteners" in the deals.

He might have deals in his back pocket. But h might be bluffing too.

No question, Morey is using the media (woj, amick) to get the message across.

celtics easy road to the finals next season. mia re-signs lbj, but roster gets worse.

I like Paddy Mills but Rudy Fernandez should be the target to cover PG & SG of the bench.

Right, because their supporting cast is world class. I always knew Vitor Faverani had finals MVP potential

Bradley is a good 3-D guy and Sullin ger and Olynik are solid rotation players.

Even with no supporting cast they would still make it to the finals.

I swear I'm not bill simmons

I don't like this. I was sure Morey had something, anything. I was sure Sixers would be our safety net.
