Keep this draw! Ghana is a very likeable team IMO, even though they have knocked us out twice I still love watching them play.

But in my scenario (assuming this game holds as a tie and we beat Portugal), we clinch and Germany is forced to play for a win to take the group. No chance Germany is going to settle for 2nd place to the US.

Nice pass by Ozil there but not sure what Lahm was trying to do??

    He should have struck it.

finishing 2nd for the us would be facing Belgium more than likely. Is that a winnable game?

    Belgium is stacked.

    Yes, they are extremely overrated.

Being stacked with talent doesn't make you a good team.

It doesnt but Belgium is good and they are stacked.

We do not have a midfield. We were lucky to win after Ghana pretty much controlled the entire game.

You can only hold the fort for so long with the way we played against Ghana.

Germany doesn't scare me. US should be able to beat them by at least 3 goals.

Another tournament and I am still not sold on German defense.

Their entire back line is too slow.

Ghana is under-rated IMO. They can play with anyone in the world and they just proved that. Wouldn't be surprised if they beat Portugal.

I also wanted Germany to win today, so they wouldn't have much to play for in the last game and it would have given us a safety blanket in case we don't come out with the 3 points tomorrow. No point of arguing now, so, it's your scenario now. Careful tho if we don't win tomorrow, it will complicate everything.

Does this tie put the USA win against Ghana into perspective? if anything it gives me more hope for Bradley. Ghana is super fast, no wonder USA couldn't keep possession.

He didn't even join them in the lounge. he is super salty.
