i think its cool that she was straight up about it. i would appreciate the honesty, especially considering that it was probably not easy for her to tell you.

its not like she cheated on you or anything...she hooked up with your friend 2 years ago. its really not that uncommon. i guess if yall are going to be hanging out all the time it would be weird though. if you really like her it wont matter. if it bothers you that much then its probably not going to work long-term.

and some of yall are just really weird about sex - did i actually read that someone could have scored with a grad student but backed off when they found out she had sex with someone else once? that is gayer than two dudes having gay sex.

 

I don't see the big deal, but back when I was your age, everyone was sleeping around with everybody, so I come from a different perspective, I guess.

When I started dating my ex I had slept with 2 of his friends, close friends that he has grown up with. It was hard at the beginning but he didn't let them interfere or have a say in whether or not he dated me. The relationship lasted 2 and 1/2 years, and I broke up with him for other reasons.
It will say a lot about your maturity level what type of effect this has on you.

You have like, all your facts wrong.

 

It's a lot different when your girl/boyfriend has slept with someone you know, versus someone you don't. I wouldn't think twice about random(s), but when someone you know has had intimate contact with your g/bf, it's sorta weird. (Especially if the other person was an "insert negative term here" - might tell you something about your current SO.)
