Yes, the rockets have little chance to get Love, but how about Melo, a chance to get Melo should be better? 20-50%?
Rockets are obviously not moving Parsons in a Love trade so this really is Morey looking to try to move other assets to see if he can acquire a player(s) that are better than Klay Thompson. Which is unlikely.
76ers is the only place I can see a deal getting done. Jones + Parsons + 10th Pick from Philly to Minnesota Asik + Lin + Houston's 25th + multiple second rounders to Philly Love to Houston. That package destroys anything the Warriors can offer and may be too much for just Love in my opinion but if we could possibly get Ariza in Free Agency, we are looking at the best team in the West.

Teams now know that the Wolves want good young players and bad contracts taken back over just draft picks. I am sure you will see some other teams try to make offers to beat the Warriors. I know Denver has been trying to get in on the Love bonanza. Another thing to consider, Love loves the west coast.
Exactly. I think if you attach Asik + #25 pick you could get someone good. Maybe give Orlando a call for Aaron Afflalo
This rumor broke based off comments from Michael Thompson ( Klay'sDad). It had already started circulating a half hour before cyberx ' s first post. http://www.chatsports.com/golden-st...A-FirstRounder-Headed-To-Minnesota-10-84-1816
No shade to cyberx (because I do think he's credible and have defended him ad nauseum), but Stein broke this on twitter based on Klay's dad's radio interview long before it was posted here. The tweets were posted in the Dish before this thread got bumped.
Nice on paper but not a guarantee... Love has missed 140 games over the last 6 years. Bogut has missed 220 games in the last 7 years. Iguodala missed 20 games last year and is on the downside. Curry has missed 74 games in the last 5 years. I make the trade for Love if I am Golden State, but you are really playing with fire.. there is a lot of health issues looking at the history of the players involved.

If this is indeed the deal. Great job Minny. Shedding cap while keeping your team a borderline playoff team. GSW are getting lots of pieces that could help them in the future, but i can't see them making this deal without having another idea in mind to trade more pieces for another star.
Morey jumps in and sheds either Lin and/or Asik... seeing it happening now. Guy is too talented as a GM.
