I go with blueberries and strawberries usually frozen... vanilla Yogurt and some OJ. Add whatever type of supplements or whatever you want to take, blend that crap up and your good!
I don't know what Syntha 6 is, but our smoothies are basically everything else he stated. Most of the time blueberries versus strawberries because each year we go pick them and come back with 50 pounds. That lasts all year when you freeze em.
I started using Shakeology by Beachbody a few months ago and have been very happy with it. There are tons of recipes with each flavor to keep you from getting sick of drinking the same shake every day. I used to make whey protein shakes but looked for an alternative due to the amount of artificial ingredients/sugar in most of them. It comes out to about $4 a day (1 shake per day) if you do the math, which is quite a bit more expensive than my old shake routine, but to me it's worth it because I was not properly balancing nutrition and using the best ingredients with the way I used to do it. My sister is actually a beachbody coach and got me into it, but I recently signed up as a coach and can PM a link to anyone interested in purchasing through me. Note that if you're trying to really add bulk, this probably isn't for you. It's targeted toward those who want to lose weight. I don't fall in that category but still find it very beneficial. ingredients: http://images.beachbody.com/tbb/beachbodycoach/Coach%20Training/SHK_Ingredient_Chart.pdf
Syntha 6 is just protein made by BSN. I only use it because IMO it tastes the best out of all the ones I've tried. Any protein will do. Blueberries are good too, they just tend to be more expensive by weight. Then again Syntha 6 is pricey too, relative to other proteins, but it's whatever.
If you're trying to lose weight, make sure you use low carb protein in your shakes. Isopure, for example.
