That sucks for California. I heard on the radio that it was starting to affect meat and poultry prices. Then again, Texas has been there and done that. Remember 2011? Spoiler
They are already ripping out and burning almond orchards because there's not enough water. Oh, and CA only produces 82% of the world's almond supply.
My understanding is that the forecast is for a strong El Nino this year which should result in a very wet winter for us. I'm hoping.
The D&D is calling you. Just one click away. It stands for Dumb and Dumber, and you can have some good fun there with bigtexxx! Why any state would cheer for another's drought ... just says a lot about America I guess. And it says a lot about trolls who can't control their ultra-petty selves. Whole lot of people from a whole lot of political backgrounds getting hurt by this. Whatever.
That prediction has sense gone down. Maybe a moderate to weak El Nino expected now occurring late Summer or early Fall. Nothing like the 1997 El Nino.
noooo... bad news for Cali and west texas alike. Californians really don't get it. For instance, where I live,* people have cut water usage by only 2% since the governor called for voluntary reduction. Mandatory will be here any day I guess. * = the greater Bay Area... not just my house. LOL.
I know you're not responsible for burden of inbreeding that afflicts you, but could you make a better effort to overcome it.
