It's a way to get more traffic coming his way, since everyone else is already talking about Houston, chicago, cleveland, etc..

This is the most amusing part.

On 2nd thought, Lenard would not get a chance to be where he is today if he has been coached by McHale anyway...

Can we make a rule that Bill Simmons' articles are similar to hoopshype and that you lose the ability to use that as a reference for your source?

I'm not even saying this because he said Lebron wouldn't come to Houston. I say this because his writing borders on propaganda. He only caters to LA, Boston and hates Miami, Houston, and even GSW.

His articles are interesting and fun to read, but not true!

I was devastated when we didn't draft Leonard, but you may be right about the McHale thing. All that tells me is that we need a better coach.

    His logic makes no sense.

If LeDiva wants glamor, it's going to be 1. stay in Miami, 2. join Marshmallow in NY, or 3. somehow force a trade to the Clippers. Looking like a sellout has nothing to do with it. Living in a nice city has everything to do with it.

Listen or read Bill Simmons because you want to be entertained, NOT for breaking news or valid sources.

Simmons is a very good writer and an exceptional businessman. However he has about as much inside information as JCDENTON.

Simmons is a smart dude but at times comes off like a moron...this happens to be one of those times.

Short of a franchise revolving completely around him, and starting from scratch. He'll always be a sell out.

May as well sell out here.

The guy goes back home to Akron for the offseason, he's hardly what one would call a glamor city person.

Simmons...a terrific writer...but man his ego has inflated tremendously...and was culminated by the "can I speak now" tantrum...Lebron doesnt even know where he wants to go...he may just end up deciding after taking a trip to a Denver resort...:)

    GO ROCKETS!

For some reason, Simmons loves the Clippers. Probably due to his undying love for the Celtics which means he hates the Lakers and wants the Clippers to overthrow the Lakers for LA. Simmons is always saying player x is going to the Clippers. lol

I don't see LeBron wanting to go there. The Clippers would have to trade Griffin somewhere and I don't think a combo of CP3/Lebron/Jordan(?) is better than Harden/Howard/Lebron.

He wouldn't look like a sellout for going to the Clippers? I think that would worse than going to the Rockets. The Clippers were already 2 games away from the WCF which is much farther than the Rockets got this past season. Plus he'd be going to another big market which seems like much more of a sellout move than deciding to play in H-Town.

They have about 76 million worth of salary
About 69 of that is guaranteed
About 65 if everyone with a player option opts out

They have roughly 56 million alone tied up in Paul, Griffin, Jordan and Reddick. If you subtract JJ Reddick's 6.7 million salary they still have almost 50 million alone in Paul, Griffin and Jordan. If you are some how magically able to shed all of your contracts except Paul, Griffin and Jordan you still have salary cap holds for 9 additional spots.

Are they expecting to sign Lebron for the MLE?

that's just ridiculous. lebron is a sell-out but he is absolutely the best player in the world. it's not even close. durant/love don't d up like lebron, don't distribute like lebron, don't win like lebron. i like love as a fit with harden and howard but he's barely a top 10 player in the league and we'll have to give up a whole lot to trade for him as just losing lin and asik to sign either lebron or carmelo as a free agent. So you're essentially saying you'd rather have love than lebron freaking james, parsons, jones and two 1st round picks. you're a genius.
