Biggest things to possibly expect this year: - More info on Android Wear - Android 5.0 (L)? - Hardware updates on Nexus tablets, Chromebook Pixel - Android Silver - Google Fit - Google Glass updates - Android TV & More Chromecast apps Starts next Wednesday, June 25th 11 AM CST. There should be a live stream for it on YouTube similar to last year.
Interested to see if the Nexus line is put six feet under like the rumors suggest, or if they'll announce one more iteration. I think the rumors are true and the nexus is dead. Always love to see what Google has up its sleeve.
I've been jonesing for an 8" tablet for a long time. Not a Samsung, maybe LG. I hope there's a Nexus 8.
Thanks. Still holding out hope for a Nexus 8, otherwise I will probably pull the trigger on the G Pad.
Very curious on the rumored interface overhaul and closer integration with Chrome OS of Android 5.0 "Lollipop".
Same with me. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on the LG GPad 8.3 Google Edition until I hear about Nexus 8 next week. Plus I've reach that Samsung is refreshing their 10 inch tablet this year but i think the Nexus 8 will be the perfect.
I've figured 8 is perfect for me. Call me crazy but I really don't want a hardware button (and I have a Galaxy S3 phone) so the LG is the one for now.
This might be the new Nexus tablet made by HTC. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/06/21/this-is-volantis-htcs-nine-inch-nexus-tablet/ In the article, they note that they aren't expecting this for Google I/O though.
Looks great and I was hoping to see HTC be the company. I'm getting greedy but the rumor of starting at $399 seems expensive for what you'd expect for a Nexus price point.
Well, it's tommorow at 9am pacific. Big announcement already today. http://m.androidcentral.com/sundar-pichai-reveal-next-version-android-google-io-week Google will reveal the next major version of android during i/o.
