    Idk why we think Dirk would leave Dallas to come here.. He been there forever, that's like Tim Duncan or Kobe Bryant coming to Houston.

    To be honest, I don't want Dirk here.

    Kobe has threatened to leave the Lakers before and he is a "Laker for Life" right now because they gave him $50 million over two years despite being old and injured.

    When Duncan was old and injured he signed for $10 million. When Kobe was old and injured he signed for $25 million.

    Kobe can claim to be about rings or the Lakers, but Kobe is about Kobe. Kobe Bryant doesn't take a paycut.

    I like Dirk a lot, actually consider him the 2nd best PF behind TD once you factor in stretch pf skill set, durability, high character and bball IQ. It is insane he still this good after playing for 12+ years, TD looks like he will retire any year now but Dirk can probably still play for 5-10 more years just because of his height and shooting ability.

    This shouldn't surprise anyone.

    And even though I think that Dirk would be a pretty awesome fit next to Howard, he is getting old and probably will still command a good sized paycheck and there are several other players I would rather have anyway
