If the Suns offer up Bledsoe + picks, that is easily the best offer IMO. Bledsoe, Lakers 2015 first rd pick (top 5 protected), T-wolves 2016 first rd pick for Love (giving Minn back their own pick) is all better than the Celtics offer IMO, unless they really covet a guy at #6 that they think can be better than Bledsoe. Dragic-Green-Tucker-Love-Frye with the Morris twins and Plumlee off the bench is a strong squad.
Love is as good as gone or Flip will be gone next summer. The team doesn't want Love back and he will leave for nothing next summer
And Minnesota with about twelve point guards. Of course, they can make subsequent trades. But why would Bledsoe want to go to Minneapolis? It's a nice city for five months out of the year but the weather is a beeyatch. NOBODY wants to play there.
That's right. Bledsoe going to minny in a S&T is as dumb as Parsons going to Minny in a S&T. Not going to happen.
Yep. Plus... Is Love going to Phoenix of all places just to play with Gogi & the Morris twins? Playing with Bledsoe would have to be part of whatever lure Phoenix had of keeping him beyond this year. Dont get me wrong... .HUGE Gogi fan, but lets be realistic. For Flip & the deal he ends up taking, I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is alot of variation between deals with other teams. You could make a case for pretty much any of them. The deal that trumps them all would have to be Cleveland and the #1 pick, but I dont think Cleveland even thinks about it until they get an idea if Lebron is even going to seriously entertain coming back, and that probably wont happen by draft night. If its a draft night trade, the Rockets are keeping Parsons out of trade talks, and Boston opens up the flood gates with their players & assets, I think it would be very tough for any team to beat what the Celtics are potentially offering with most likely NO guarantee of signing him long term.

I don't think the Rockets have any shot whatsoever of landing Kevin Love. None. Too many teams with assets they are willing to give up. The Rockets are going to focus on guys that control their own destinies.
Man does it feel good to say that or what? I couldn't be happier with the way we are set up right now.

Actually it looks more and more like Boston will happen. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to believe Love is going to Denver or they're going to try and convince him to stay. It feels like blatant negotiating through the media. Never really thought Boston had a chance since their team is terrible, but now I'd say they're the favorite.
GSW is almost certainly a smokescreen.....similar to what they were with Dwight. No picks. One talented player (Thompson) One player with potential (Barnes) That doesn't beat Olynyk, Sullinger, and the mountain of picks they have. Also, there is a chance that Boston loses both Rondo and Love next year in free agency, which makes their own picks more valuable than GSW, who has everyone locked up for the next 3 years.
Though it would be nice if Flip believed Golden State had the best offer since the Rockets could top theirs easily. Asik/Parsons/Jones/multiple picks is better than Lee/Klay/Barnes/one pick.
I agree completely. Asik and Lin are off the table after this year and can be very valuable pieces at the deadline. Jones is a better prospect that HB and Parsons is way better than Klay, who for some reason is getting touted as the next superstar in the NBA when in reality he is just a jump shooter with a lot of open shots thanks to Curry demanding so much attention. Regardless of this the media is crowning GSW the best team since the 96 Bulls and the place where any smart player would want to go.
they probably would've give up a lot, and Love defense is just as suspect, not sure how much they will actually improve
