At the end of the day, who you played for in your career doesn't even matter. For Lebron, the only thing that matters is how many rings he has when he calls it a career. That's what he is going to be judged upon.

Just dawned on me losing Lebron and adding Asik and Lin would make Miami pretty damn good in the east. They'd only do it if Lebron said he wanted to come here though. And it would throw Les into luxury tax. But.....
    Howard, DMo
    TJones, Powell
    LBJ, Parsons
    Harden, Daniels
    Beverly, Canaan

Just might get us there. No pure scorer off the bench but pair Parsons with one of Howard, James, or Harden at all times and you got a chance. Of course exchanging LBJ for Melo is a decent consolation prize too.

Wow Stephen A. Smith called Harden emotionally sensitive and weak minded. Didn't know that was public perception of him smh

Skip said he bets we either get Lebron or Melo... which mean it won't happen :(

Yeah, should've known better. Smith crapped all over the rockets. I'm actually bothered by it, I guess I'm emotional too smh. These guys are moronic, same two guys that guaranteed LeBron to the Knicks and Dwight was staying in LA. I hope we get LeBron just to keep these guys looking stupid with their predictions. Skip said Clippers or Miami, Smith said Cleveland or Miami, we'll see

Which trio is better? Wade/Bosh/James trio from 2010 or the possibility of a Harden/Howard/James trio in 2014.

    Let's compare by parts first:
2010 Wade vs. Current Harden: I know everyone is going to give Wade the advantage because Wade played great defense back then. But I think it's a lot closer than people would think. 2010 Wade was a superior player to current Harden but Harden does do some things so much better than Wade could ever do, namely shoot the basketball and play make. The biggest knock on the Wade/LeBron combo was that their games were too similar. Back then both weren't good shooters and it was only until LeBron shot the ball better that they were able to coexist better
2010 Bosh vs. Current Howard: I don't think this is even close. No denying that Dwight isn't the basketball player once was but in a reduced form he is still better than Bosh. Bosh was a top power forward but not the best in his position. Howard is still the best center in the league.
2010 Lebron vs. Current Lebron: Current Lebron takes this match up. Now Lebron is a more complete player than he was in 2010. He shoots better, improved his post game and is a smarter player. Plus, he has now won the championship so he knows what it takes.

By parts, the Howard/Harden/LeBron is superior to the original Big 3. As a group, the "New. Big 3" certainly fits better than the Original Big 3, I think. Particularly because Harden can shoot the basketball which allows LeBron to have more space to drive

They're paid to be contrarian, no one would watch a circle jerk. It's pretty much a given that Miami and Cleveland are the favorites.

    pretty simple.

Win more than 6 titles. Loyalty is only important to the fans. Organizational loyalty died a long time ago. This whole he has to win it in one city to be compared to other greats is silly and ridiculous.

Personally speaking, If I was an NBA player. I would keep my contracts short and play for the team with the best chances to win the title as frequently as possible. The goal is to WIN TITLES, if you are a free agent it is your right to choose the best situation for you.

You'd think they'd actually be excited about Lin, Asik, D-Mo for Bosh though. They'd be a better team immediately. They get about 65% performance out of Bosh because Spoelstra is clueless on offense.

The whole Cavs thing is so overblown... They are a joke of a franchise and nobody knows that better than Lebron.
