So I guess I'm the only one that doesn't want LeBron here?

Probably, yes. Pretty much anyone else would want the Rockets to land the best player in the league and be a lock for multiple championships.

i really dont think a third star is the be all answer. i mean, lebron is a complete package player so i think he would be an exception, but we talk about kevin love, carmelo, etc etc...

we have fundamental problems that needs to be addressed during the off-season if we're to transcend our current status as the first round exit team which include running plays that involves the team and discipline in defense.

really, the blazers did us a favor and spelled out all the things that needs to be addressed on our team after the blazers lost to the spurs.

i get what the op is saying but dwight is on his last legs as the best center in the league. dont wanna waste that with mchale's horrible coaching...wait...he is the coach for next season. so does that mean...the only chance rockets have at a 'ship is to get the best player in the league?

I would take any player that makes this team better, ANY PLAYER. I get it that you want to beat the best but you don't say no to LBJ or Kevin Durant if they desired to be on your team. If he makes the team better I saw hell yeahhhhh! That being said though its only a pipe dream, why would LBJ want to come here? Outside the obvious fact that we would be in serious contention with the other major players in the West.

Although it doesn't give us the WCF like say if the Rockets were in the East..;)

There was and will always be one Tracy McGrady

I am correct again. Only McGrady fans can not want LeBron.
This is because they are jealous. Same reason they dislike Kobe.

There have been some pretty bad threads already in 2014 vying for 'Worst Thread of the Year' honours.

Congratulations, you've somehow managed to force yourself into the conversation

Are you serious? You have mentioned Mgrady twice in this thread when his name hasn't been brought up.

Stop being a ****ing troll kiddo. You are a sad boy.

Breh, don't be so disrespectful to the 99'ers, just ignore him if he bothers you.

The dude deserves no respect given to the 99'ers.

He's proven beyond a doubt time and time again to be one of the worst posters on this forum.

    EDIT: *****.. sorry guys.

Just realised the letters t,m,a,c are in my above post.

Here comes tinman to claim i'm a TOF

You are the minority. LeBron is the best player in the NBA. He shows off a lot, especially in the early years. He thinks he's a king, but he's not, which is annoying.

But you don't want the best player?

OP is on to something here.

Any way we can trade back Harden for Martin, Lamb, and Adams? Can we amnesty Dwight?

We don't need no stinking stars!!! It'd be more meaningful to have a team of role players who work hard to win games than a title contending team of stars.

At this point, LeDiva's brand is so strong that it takes over. The Miami Heat didn't win championships in 2012 and 2013, the Miami LeDiva did. I'm a fan of the Houston Rockets. Trash me if you want, but I'm not overly enthusiastic about cheering for the Houston LeDiva.

It was different with T-Mac. At that time, ESPN had not completely ruined pro sports, though they were well on their way. T-Mac was a star, but not so powerful as to obliterate the Rockets' identity.

Lastly, do we really want to deal with LOF? I sure don't.

    Two questions.

Would it be so bad to change a little direction from the Run and Gun style we play ? Even if we land Melo, we will not be running so much.

Are Lebron Only Fans worse than Lin only fans ?
