I'm watching for scouting purposes for my South Korea. Both these teams seem tough for us. Bad gut feeling about this group.
Nice comeback by Belgium. Seems like they shook the cobwebs off and started to play up to their abilities. Russia and SK would seem to be more of a test but they should still be on target to finish first.
Probably about as much as that big win for Portugal over Ireland helped them to feel good going in to the tournament.
woooooooow!!! back from belgian bar /insert drunk post/ They played like ****! But man, they played with heart! You could clearly feel the inexperience and stress within certain players. However, I felt we were playing against Greece. There was a HUGE bus parked in front of Algeria's 16 meters, they shot once, and it was wide... ONCE! 69% possession for Belgium. Great comeback!!! /end
There are two types of flopping, the type that people do to try to get a foul (pretty much every team does it), and the type where with minimal contact a guy rolls around writhing in pain (in an attempt to get the guy a card). The first is annoying but I can still be ok with it (although I wish Fifa could go back and give retroactive yellows to try to curtail it). The second really irritates me.
