Clutch vouched for Cyberx. What more do you want? You want him to fax you his drivers license and w2? Do you want his social security number and paystub? If you don't believe then get the hell out of this thread. Problem solved.

I mean, this is all interesting and all, I guess. Cyberx and I must talk to very different people. Mike Brown hasn't popped up in anything I've heard/discussed lately. It's more of the opposite.

I've simply heard that Mike Brown is not looking to be an assistant. That was the short response. Mike Brown is not looking to be an assistant. This, from a guy that has worked for him and knows how he seems to operate.

Who knows at this point? I mean, I was surprised when Morey hired Kevin McHale over Dwayne Casey. Now, I know why, but it was still a surprise.

    Miss seeing my team :/

Since no Mike Brown, Rockets turn to Hollins as reported.

He is really proud and doesn't want to stoop down to an assistant, but it may be what he has to do to get hired on as a full time coach.

Does the potential Hollins signing bear any relevance to LeBron and/or Melo's thinking towards signing with Houston?

I have not heard much on Lebron to Houston...

But to be honest - Rockets could honestly be a dark horse to get him.
I don't believe Lebron is extremely close to really any of the 2 stars on the team.

Melo is more realistic. I guess we need to not get ahead of ourselves when discussing Lebron - lets just see if he opts out first.

Hey Cyber...do you have any idea on how close Hollins is on deciding whether to accept or move on to something else?

Is Carmelo to Houston a 98% chance likely to happen type of thing? I don't see the appeal of playing in Chicago for Melo.

    Thanks for the scoop cyber.

Regarding Melo, why is Chicago so neck and neck with Houston? I figured Rose's injury history would scare him (and LeBron) away.

Definitely not a 98% chance... Nothing in this business is 98% chance.

    You mean the rumor business?

Because players can certainly be 98% sure of what they are doing but we won't know about it.

Even then, not 98% that it will happen. Lots of moving parts. 98% is way too high.

    Cyberx,

If not Lebron or Melo, who is the 3rd realistic option in FA?

    Bosh? Lowry? Trade?

Sorry I was just exaggerating. Who is the true favorite to land Melo? Houston or Chicago? Also on a related note, the Rockets seem confident they can trade Asik and Lin whenever they want once eligible. What are the chances they are moved to make room for their prized free agent?

Does anyone hear much of anything about Lebron? It seems to me that by having basically his own agent that he can keep everything under wraps.

He will opt out. The Heat can't beat San Antonio with the current core, and opting out to take less is the only option to improve the team.
