Nigeria's terrible performance right now is making me worried for Ghana. USA was really encouraged about the win against Nigeria, but look at the state of them. USA should have won by 30.
Why would that discourage you? The USA absolutely dismantled Nigeria from start to finish. I would be discouraged if we struggled against them, but we did not. The biggest takeaway from that game should be Altidore's return to the scorebook. USA will need him to be aggressive, and big today on those runs to the box.
It would be so disappointing if USA craps the bed against Ghana today. The stars are lining up. USA needs to take advantage.

Eh, you probably forgot about the 1st 30 minutes of that match. Nigeria have little in common with Ghana in terms of Football these days. Ghana are more creative than Nigeria. A Nigeria match that ends with them scoring more than 2 goals is not something that happens much these days. I expected a 1 nil win at least today. The US should neither be too encouraged or discouraged. There were positive things to take away but some that will have no bearing on the match vs Ghana.
We had our chances to get a goal but couldn't finish. Too many crosses into the box where nobody was there to finish. I'll take the draw for now and hope we don't get embarrassed by Argentina. Too bad this team has not practiced much together thanks to the great teams that didn't let the players out because of the stupid cup.
