At this point, that is the best case scenario. Germany puts Portugal in a huge GD hole that they likely can't climb out of.
by "getting back in the german's face" you mean "walk over to the german player sitting on the ground and head butt him", right? as slight of a headbutt as it was it was still a head butt and it was directly in front of the ref. not sure what planet you live on where that isn't a red card.
Ugh. Just recovered from my weekend hungover. Drank a whole bottle of G'vine after that ass whooping. What day is it?
I think the difference in opinion is wether it was a headbutt or just getting in his face while their foreheads are touching. I would not call it a real headbutt. But for me it is enough for a red card (especially when it is pepe). But i understand people thinking it was not a headbutt and red was a bit to much. It is a joy to see germany play. I miss schzweinsteiger but germany is a good team. I hope they win the championship (of we do not win it ofcourse).
Nah.... was not that way in the past. In the past refs like Colina or other good refs did evaluate situations according to severity of a situation
I'll actually cheer for the Netherlands if we don't win it. I was jubilating when Robben sprinted past Pique and scored that goal. On another note...wtf is Mereiles doing?
I'll root for the USA against Ghana and Portugal, by the way. With Pepe and Coentrao out, the USA might have a shot!
It is funny how times have changed from the 1990s. I remember how badly i hated the german players back then fuller. Klinsmann etc. Ofcourse i was a child back then.
This should be 5-0. 2 easy wasted chances in this half. I think the goals will come but they need to crush them before Portugal somehow regains any hope of staying alive.
At this point now, I'm literally just watching the time tick slowly away until USA-Ghana. Today was already going to be completely unproductive, but I'm approaching dangerous levels here!
