A team of Howard down low ready for the lob, with Anthony on the wing waiting to attack or shoot the open jumper and harden running the offense at the top of the key? Wow !!!!!! Add parsons cutting to the hoop and bev being wide open for corner 3s? Crazy!!!!!

I'm a firm beliver that harden can run the show similar to lebron does for the heat. He's a willing passer and really does have a knack for making the sound high basketball IQ play. He's young and will get much better on offense and defense as he understands the nba game, the talent is there.

Adding melo would be a big big deal and totally change the landscape of the nba. I know harden is getting a lot of criticism right now but let's not forget how good he really is and what got him 1st team nba at 24. Having 3 legit superstars who are undoubtably top 10 players in the nba from a statistic and talent standpoint is extremely rare. This team has the potential to be better than the heat big 3.

Dwight is undoubtably better than Chris bosh now and even 4 years ago. Melo IMO has been a better player than wade their whole career and expecually since 2010 when The big 3 arrived in Miami. Obviously harden is know lebron and this is the wildcard but from an objective standpoint the way he plays the game is similar to a lebron james. IMO he has the potential to be as close to lebron on offense as any player in the game.

No I'm not saying we're better than Miami in 2011 because they have lebron but from a talent standpoint 2014 harden/Howard/melo is better than 2014 james/bosh/wade and it's arguable that it's also better than the 2011 version of the heat.

Plus at harden 24 Howard 28 and melo 30 you have 2 elite players in their prime that can carry us for 2 yrs then on the back end of melo deal age 33 and 34 harden should be entering his prime ready to take over as true leader of the team and at 27 with hopefully 2 championships he'll know what it takes and can take the pressure of melo and Howard even more.

Iv been all in for melo and prefer him over love simply because besides lebron he's he beat player available and that included Kevin love. Melo is a true superstar who can take team deep love so far is a fantasy basketball wet dream.

Melo wanting to stay in the East because of easier competition is really my biggest concern.

If Melo stays in NY Phil better get some more talent like Rondo,LeBron,Kyrie or Durant.

I sometimes get disappointed reading clutchfans (I know, "then don't read it"). There seems to be an overwhelming amount of negative people here. We have upgraded our roster tremendously and have one of the brightest futures in the NBA when it seems like yesterday we were riding the mediocre treadmill. I mean, it literally seemed like we were going to get the 14th pick for another 10 years if you passively watched the Rockets. Come on, guys. Carmelo is one of my least favorite players, but you're talking about a top 10 talent. You could have three players who are top 15 talents on this team either in their prime or entering it. A few years ago we were hoping Lowry would make the All-Star team over Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Steve Nash, and so on.

That's why I want the spurs to win.

I think if they win this year they will finally all retire... pop, ginobli and duncan that is..

I basically wasn't cognoscente of sport the last time the spurs were bad.... all empires come to an end though...

I think Carmelo will come to Houston because if he wants to win now, Houston is the place to be. I don't know why he even wants to go to Chicago since Rose is often hurt.

I tend to believe if he wants to go to Chicago it's because of Noah and not necessarily because of Rose. If Rose is healthy and plays that would just be gravy...

#Rockets are 20-1 odds to win 2015 NBA title. Heat the favorites at 5-2. OKC and SA are 7-1. Clips 10-1. Pacers/Bulls 15-2. (Via @RJinVegas)

seems Vegas thinks melo will go to Chicago
