I consider Argentina the favorite, but they were extremely underwhelming. If they play like this, they won't go far.

Waiting on Group F to finish tomorrow and group G to start.

 

Man, you must not have seen the groups if you actually think Bosnia are in a weak group and should make it out w/o much competition.

They faced Argentina and next up they will face Nigeria. That's not weak competition and the Bosnia vs Nigeria match will be a fantastic one to watch imo. (I'm sure Iran will also represent for the AFC as well)

 

I think Algeria > Nigeria, and Korea > Iran.

So from Bosnia's perspective, its an easier group to progress than what Russia is facing. Let's just assume Argentina and Belgium will have no problem topping their respective groups.

 

Also, I think Japan drew an easier group than Korea.

Colombia, Ivory Coast, and Greece are 'easier' than Belgium, Russia, and Algeria.

Stylistically, Korea's strength is pace and running down the flanks, which fares well against teams like Greece. However Russia, Algeria, Belgium all have very fast teams.

Conversely, their weakness is against the strong counter attack. Again, Belgium has one of the best counterattacks in the world, Algeria has talented speedy players, and Russia has great playmakers.

 

I don't know anything about Iran, but Nigeria looked pretty bad in that friendly vs. USA. Of course that was a different scenario, but I was pretty impressed by Bosnia today and believe they are the 2nd best team in the group.

 

11 matches and only 1 that did not have 3 or more goals scored.
Also, there have been zero draws.
This a bookie's nightmare.

There were no incorrect calls. The goals were correctly nullified. If a team has skill and their skill is better than the opponent, it won't need a close call to win. France won without relying on that one "technology" aided score.

 

what the **** are you talking about? they were incorrect offside calls on the 2 goals by Mexico. There is no debate about that, and they did still win without those 2 goals.
