This time a year ago people were comparing LeBron to Jordan and now people are saying he's a bum because he lost to a truly great Spurs team. Just can't please folks these days.

Danny Green and Patty Mills are two incredible stories. Since his days at UNC, I never thought Danny Green was worth a dime. I watched Patty Millls on the Blazers and he was a fat pudgeball who was close to worthless IMO.

That both guys end up being key players on the same championship team is a testimony to player development.

It sort of has that sentimental value to it, right?

What, so the Thunder are the second team to ever sweep?
    They did it too.

Is this seriously a record? Lol.

It's Sunday night, and I wanted to turn on the TV to watch some torture, annihilation, and see a king be dethroned. So I turned on the NBA Finals.

MJ never played with a hobbled (Wade) and scrub team(everyone but Lebron).

This victory was astonishing. I never expected it. I thought the Heat would win in 6.
Congrats to the Spurs. Hope our Rockets can learn from them, and have a great 2015 season.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm comparing Duncan's Spurs to Magic's Lakers, Kobe's Lakers, and Jordan's Bulls. The rings are a wash since Magic finished with 5, Kobe currently sits at 5, and Jordan finished with 6. But Magic, Kobe, and MJ all managed to defend their title at least once. In the case of Kobe, he three-peated and then had another back-to-back run. And MJ three-peated twice.

Until Duncan can win 2 in a row at least one time, he's not in the same conversation as MJ, Magic, or even Kobe.

Well, er, I was wrong with the winner, pretty badly  I will admit my fault in that one; I severely underestimated the SA ball movement.

It is clear that a major weakness SA has is against an elite center. SA should hope and thank their lucky stars that they did not face the Rockets in the playoffs/will not in the future.

And I am telling you that it is a bunch of baloney. It is the media-driven "heart" crap, partially assisted by the fact that players in media cannot divulge their schemes, so just talk about not giving effort. Seriously: this is the NBA finals.. 99% NBA player has dreamed about making the finals since they could talk. The exceptions are the Joel Embiid's of the league, who started playing at a late age, only because they were not given an opportunity before. You really think they aren't giving 100% balls to the wall effort?

A good system can make players play better. A good play-maker can make their supporting cast better. Paying attention to details, like good screens, sharp passes, accurate passes, and executing sets can make players "seem" better to the average fan than one would think (because these things are not quantified, but are still very important and not noticed). But imposing will onto teammates? Please.

Let's not also ignore that Leonard plays with Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. Even at their advanced age, that takes a lot of pressure off the dude. Paul George has to carry a much heavier load in Indiana.

I predicted the Spurs winning the series, but not like this. The Heat were barely a bump in the road. Wow. And LeDiva is history. No way he sticks around with Wade and Bosh having two more years on their contracts.
