Couldn't get out of the 1st round with Orlando/Houston.

Finally got out of the first round with the Spurs, but lost in heartbreaking fashion.

Retires, then Spurs blow out the Heat.

    T-Mac at home right now

He was up 3-1 and then he got knocked out of the first round in Orlando.
He was up 2-0 and then he got knocked out of the first round in Houston.
Couldn't get past the lowly Jazz.
When T-Mac gets injured they get matched up against the much inferior Blazers team and they advance, so T-Mac gets no credit for that.

T-Mac gets credit for getting out of the first round with the Spurs while contributing nothing. This angers the basketball gods so the Spurs get cursed by that Ray Allen miracle three.

With the T-Mac curse gone the Spurs show their true colors and dominate in the finals.
    There is a curse!!!

It certainly seems like it. I used to think the Rockets were the ones who were cursed(and maybe they are), but you can't overlook the bad luck T-Mac has had in his career. For the Rockets to win a single playoff series in 17 years(and counting) and have it occur in the one postseason where T-Mac didn't suit up can't just be a coincidence. Add to that the way the Spurs lost the title last year, and it sure seems like he was destined to never win in the NBA.

If T-mac won a title with San Antonio it would be pretty irrelevant. People are going to judge him on how his teams performed when he was the man not some player off the bench only getting in when it was a blowout.

TMac winning a title with the Spurs would be like Carr winning a ring with the NY Giants, no one would care or mention his name until the 20 year reunion rolled around

The TOF will they in their minds believe this person has been 'unlucky' while actions and choices by him is not a valid reason for failure.

the TOF believe in the history of basketball and mankind, it's never tracy's fault.

No, us losing in the first round this year was because we have a sh-tty coach. If we lose in the first round next year, it'll be because we have an ignorant GM and owner who inexplicably retained the services of that sh-tty coach.

Can't blame the Rockets for not matching up well against Utah. Tmac did his best to get the win when we played the Jazz, it's not our fault they had a stretch PF/C who made Yao irrelevant as a rim protector. Plus the Jazz had a decent team, Deron (good ankles), AK47, Boozer and Okur.

Maybe Tmac will do better than MJ in baseball...

Don't forget about Flyin' Ryan Bowen, our Dirk stopper. And Juwan freaking Howard against Utah.

He's blessed that he doesn't have to go beyond the 1st round during his prime. He could rest up and save his energy for the next season. Lucky guy.
