Duncan will never be considered GOAT, just like Russell has never been. Jordan was the Finals MVP for all of his 6 titles, not the same for Duncan.

Too soon, unfortunately the Spurs will have to guess on that. A Max player IMO is a all-nba perennial all-star player...Kawhi is on a stacked team so it is really hard to judge if he has as much impact on a team compared to other Max contract guys.
later on in Houston after the NBA Finals General manager Daryl Morey talk to Carmelo Anthony. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Nyjwkav3h_0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Where is Magic in that graphic? He has the stats and the hardware to be in the conversation. 5 'chips, 9 finals appearances, 3 MVPS, 3 FMVPS, etc. People forget he got diagnosed following the 91' season where he was second in MVP voting and the runner up to Jordan in the Finals. It's possible he could've continued to have been a foil to Jordan and Hakeem into the mid-90's.
Wow, so much respect for the Spurs. A Swiss watch on the court. That's basketball, folks, as good as it can be with today's rules. Duncan is simply incredible. Leonard blew up. Parker and Manu were Parker and Manu. Heck, everyone who got time played very well. I tip my hat to them.
This season, the Spurs were 54-12 with Leonard, 8-8 without him. That metric would make him the MVP of the best team in the NBA. He's the one player who's absence they can't compensate for.
just amazing. I can only imagine what it must feel like to be a spurs fan. I hope our team, GM, FO is watching. Thats what you call champions.
