Respect. Every year I count out the Spurs and think it's a fluke, they always prove me wrong. They may be our Texas rivals, but as a basketball fan, they have my respect. Will never forget what Dirk did single handily to beat the Heat and now the Spurs the last 2 years. Just flat amazing. Old but persistent, great veteran leadership, and team ball. As a Rockets fan, I'm jealous.
I feel sorry for Lebron. He did everything he could and his team mates let him down. The Spurs were amazing!

No you don't have to. Because Duncan has more individual AND team success than Kobe. He has more MVPs and finals MVPs than Kobe. And Lebron is more accomplished individually than Kobe. MUCH MUCH more.
As a Rockets fan, it's very easy for me to hate the Spurs. Especially since they got away with a lot of stuff against the Blazers that we didn't in the first round. But honestly, I've reached a point now(as opposed to back in 2007, the last time San Antonio won a title) where as a long-suffering fan, I almost hate the Rockets organization more than the Spurs. Just compare the performance of the two franchises since the summer of 1997 and it's pathetic how little the Rockets have accomplished. Yes, injuries have played a role(and the Spurs have been very lucky in that respect), but it's painful to see how much better their organization is run compared to ours.
As a basketball fan, there's nothing wrong with appreciating great team ball from the Spurs. Also nothing wrong with appreciating the best player today in Lebron. Sad to see the season come to an end, thank goodness for the World Cup.
