Congrats to the Spurs. The best team truly won. One of the most dominant Finals performances put up by the Spurs.
You would be right to criticize him if he gave up in the 3rd quarter but 4th quarter six minutes to go down 20 nobody on your team showed up to the game. I would just opt out right there on the court.

This board has turned into a **** on Lebron-fest. No respect for a champion here. A lot of circle-jerking.
Tonight isn't about what LeBron did/didn't do. It's about what the Spurs did do. They got their hearts yanked out last year and responded by winning a title in a convincing manner. They have shared the ball better than any team I've seen since 1986. They don't care who scores. Their stars sacrifice money (Duncan took a $10M paycut) and personal stats (no one is over 30 mpg) for the greater good. This 5th title ties LA for the most post Jordan, yet they have never had a bad season. A true "team", in a league that has marketed it's game around stars since the 80's. I hope the kids are watching. And Duncan has now won titles in 3 diff eras on 3 diff types of teams. Considering that you can no longer argue for Kobe's greater ring count or longevity, I never want to hear this Kobe > Duncan garbage again. I'm still taking Dream though.
After seeing how demoralized Duncan was last year, it's amazing to see him reach this point. I know people get so hung up on # of championships, but now he's tied w/ Kobe to settle that issue. I'm probably in the minority but I'd rank Duncan over Kobe during this era.
