We need our GM to release Jerome Williams.

Ah in that case, yes he has a very valid point. Williams is atrocious and has been all freaking year.

    Completely agree with you there.

Brad Mills is sitting somewhere figuring out how to make 7 pitching changes before the ending of the frame.

This is a lot of work just to get a worse pitcher in the game

This move was ok in a NL park, but this just cost us the DH for the remainder of the game.

Managerial decisions like this don't have to happen though

I am curious as to if this is true. Didn't he do this earlier this week?

You are right at first on twitter McTaggart reported we would lose the DH.

Mills made me scratch my head more than Porter to this point.

Been saying the team was winning in spite if Porter, just another example why he must go.

Now the DH is gone again. If it turns out the umpires incorrectly applied this rule, there might be an avenue for the Astros to protest this game...

I think in its simplest form, the DH can only DH for the pitcher. Once Sipp went into the outfield, the DH was no longer hitting for the pitcher.

I am still confused as to why the DH would be gone. Wouldn't Sipp just take the place of Springer in the line up? This is a very weird rule.

When Zeid came in, he took Grossman's place in the lineup since Grossman exited the game at the same time.

Since Sipp was no longer a pitcher, there was no longer a player to DH for, thus the loss of the DH.
