With all this talk about adding a third star what seems to be unclear is who will the Rockets bring in or maybe who have the Rockets developed to be the shutdown wing this team so desperately needs. Names that come to mind... Thabo Sefolosha Vince Carter Paul Pierce Al-Farouq Aminu Luol Deng Trevor Ariza Demarre Carroll (trade) Robert Covington My personal favorite is Chris Singleton (low risk high reward)

Thabo should have "vet min" in bold red letters next to his name I like Ariza too, but he may be out of our price range. Aminu is interesting
Carter? aminu? They aren't D players. Ariza is a contract year player....no thanks. Covington can do it, Carroll, Brandon Rush, etc.
I wish nothing but the best for him, but he makes Tayshaun Prince look like Joey Dorsey. I don't know if he has a body type that will enable him to be a really good one on one defender.
Maybe we'll draft someone. Wing defense is not something that is difficult to pick up off the waiver wire. It's only hard if you want to find a guy that can defend AND do something else. Like shoot threes or post up or have a spot up game.
Btw D-League MVP last year was Othyus Jeffers and Ron Howard. I think you mean D-League All-Star MVP.
how are vince carter/paul pierce on your list but Marion is not? Also, sefalosha is washed up his defense was bad this past year and his offense doesn't need to be mentioned....
I'd like to see us drop Parsons minutes to 30mpg to see if he can then return to his rookie year defense.
