Don't worry, U.S. will host the 2016 Copa America, so all the South American countries are coming here.
Robben was measured at 37.0km/h at one point during the game, fastest speed ever measured for a footballer. Robben: 37.0 km/h Antonio Valencia – 35.1 km/h Gareth Bale – 34.7 km/h Aaron Lennon – 33.8 km/h Cristiano Ronaldo – 33.6 km/h Theo Walcott – 32.7 km/h Sick!
Just coming up for air. Uruguay was pathetic. I generally like that team but they were outclassed on the pitch and then some of the nastiness came out. So glad Maxi got the red. Whoever said Rooney is the best English player is wrong. There have been rumblings that Barkley should replace him as a starter. Instead Roy tried to do a little of both and put Sterling in the 10 role with Rooney on the wing. But Rooney basically pouted and constantly failed to fill space in front of Baines which caused all sorts of problems. Especially when basically all he did was one great cross on offense. Welbeck is a great defensive attacking player (backhanded compliment) but I really don't think he should start. It will be interesting now that England and Uruguay both lost. Thursday should be fun.
What a turn of events in the Switzerland/Ecuador game. Ecuador just fell asleep defensively after not converting on that chance in front of goal on the other end.
Am I the only who thinks there was no offside when Switzerland scored a goal in mid2nd half? That was clear first player didn't touched and didn't even tried
no you're not. the announcers said it was onside and it was. the lines probably assumed the 1st player tipped it since at first look, it seem like he did. fifa needs to integrate a instant replay on goals. that's 2 in mexico match and this one.
Argentina should NOT take Bosnia-Herzegovina lightly, Dzeko & Pjanic do not **** around, they have a very solid team.
Brilliant call by the refs on that last goal. Letting them play on after that foul. I also wonder if it was offside.
