From the looks of it. Melo or Durant in 2016.

Right, I think Asik (flipped for a pick), Parsons and Jones is a better package, especially since Houston has many more picks to trade along with Pap and Rubio's national teammate, Sergio Llull. The Rockets also have Lin's expiring to take on Martin/Brewer/Budinger. If Golden State is a viable trading partner, then so is Houston.

It's simply a matter if Kevin Love wants a real contender (HOU/GSW/CHI with Rose) or just a change in scenery to a bigger market (BOS/LA/NY).

    You're hilarious dude.

    It is posturing.

But not posturing for what you are saying.

When are you guys going to figure out what is happening here? Does anybody know why this would leak from the Rockets organization? Put your thinking cap on and figure it out. It's easy.

... because we're going to trade for LeBron instead?

    Tells me two things:

    1) We are or were in the heat of negotiations with them
    2) We're telling them "no Parsons"

    UPDATE:

The Rockets believe they're "outgunned" in terms of having enough assets to trade for Kevin Love, according to USA Today.

The Rockets do have a lot of secondary players to offer, but not having a star or a high draft pick seems to be making it tougher than they thought. In other Love news, he was on ESPN's SportsNation on Wednesday and praised the Knicks. "I think anytime you have Phil Jackson involved in any organization, you're going to definitely look at it and it's definitely intriguing, "Love said. "The Knicks are definitely a place where anybody would like to go." Before Knicks fans get too excited, they have fewer assets than the Rockets.

The Knicks don't have "fewer" assets. They have "none".

It's slightly off topic but I find it interesting that a big part of the reason why so many people hate Dwight is because he made it clear he wanted out the season before his free agent year to try and force a trade and was dictating where he wanted to go by who he would or wouldn't resign with.

Kevin Love is doing the same thing but getting much less hate for it. I mean the Boston trip and his Knicks comments are more than I remember Dwight doing.

It was more the dishonesty Dwight showed, like trying to get his coach fired and then wrapping his arm around him during a media interview not knowing he just got called out less than a minute before.

KLove is just doing what he can to get out of Minnesota without getting fined by the league.

Dwight and Fegans met with the Nets owner while he was still under contract to Orlando.

Asik and jones for their pick and mkg.
Won't be surprised if Lowry walks so we can send Lin and Daniels for their late first rounder.
Use those picks plus ours and maybe moti and a future first and that's 3 picks, mkg, 1future pick and moti for love.

Yes we will have to get lucky. But we need to milk forst rounders from Asik and Lin even if they aren't high picks because 3 decent picks and some assets can net you a pretty good pick.

Dwight isn't the first star player to tell management he's not happy with the coach. That arm around him situation was super unfortunate and awkward to say the least, but it was SVG who went public with the whole "Dwight wants me fired" thing. Also, as I recall, Kevin Love wasn't (and isn't) the biggest advocate for Kurt Rambis.

All I'm saying is there are a lot of similarities in how their situations are playing out.

Love is doing it to the Twolves. Right or wrong, that's different than doing it to Kobe and the Lakeshow.

Kevin Love and Lebron James to the Skylanders team. Looks like it's going to be a disappointing offseason.
