i'd like to have another coach to wager with Kerr to see who does better.

Kerr believes that MJ/Bird <> McGrady, but I think every coach who coaches in the NBA will have to know that or else they would be put in a mental institution with the rest of the TOFs.

He took a scrub team to the NBA finals.

you are a TOF, cause any NBA fan knows that LeBron can carry a whole team to the Finals and they know Tracy McGrady can't carry groceries to the parking lot.

Here's a picture of LeBron carrying something Tracy can't.

He did retire so it should be easy to evaluate his career.

I'm just saying Steve Kerr didn't say anything that was considered 'hate' by certain fans.

He was just being honest, really if you played with MJ and people asked you about Tracy McGrady, what are you going to say?

I played with the best and this guy... he wasn't even in the same ballpark.

Great point, it's just the thing was kerr was claiming since mac didn't win anything in his career, he didn't have a fire in him.

It depends on what point in his career. The fire went out in the later part of his Rockets career.

I do think Tmac is a motivated person because he kept playing way after he lost his all star status.

however, then he leaves right afterwards. Like in China, I thought he promised those Guandongians a championship, then he quits and goes to play baseball in Sugarland .

You are way over your head. I got good friends who liked McGrady.
I prefer Lebron and Jordan over him, smartarse.

I stopped watching him the minute he got to New York.

He is just a cool dude off the court. Not that you know, delusional.

No need to get personal over this, like you do everytime.

Your spewing venom in every thread named McG. is just unhealthy for yourself and everyone. Or you just a robot saying things again and again.

You are really asinine if you think the Spurs and Mavs, those old geriatric
teams are not holding back OKC, Rockets and others back with their vodoo of playing 36 year olds.

Given that they are very good. They are not good enough to win the title year after year yet they occupy the WC semifinals and finals like no other.

If you are a Rocket fan, which I sometimes doubt, you would just wish they ride into their Texan sunset real soon.

    Get real here.

so you think Steve Kerr was in the same ballclub as McGrady so he can say things like that?

MJ himself can say those things but not a role player that Kerr is.

Nothing against role players on TV.

But Barkley, Shaq are all MVP types and Kerr, Kenny Smith as much as I like him, were just role players.

All Kerr ever talks about is his time with MJ. Rightfully so.

That is why I respect Horry, he just slammed Kobe. His own teammate.

You don't go all out sucking up on someone's arse just because they were the best players of their time.

Well, that is what you do, TMan

please:rolleyes: nice try. I'm going to pretend you didn't embarrASS yourself with that "list". Only one of those coaches is worth a damn.

Mac did not have great coaching nor hall of fame talent on his teams.

I am no TOF. I asked you what Lebron WON (as in NBA C'ship rings, not conf. titles, lol)prior to Miami. Reading comprehension anyone? Wow, lebron/Cavs got out of the east and then got SWEPT by the SPURS. He never won any rings until he put together his 2003 draft class near-top-5 dream team (melo to miami?). Not before losing again in the finals, this time to Dallas.

Yes, much better than mac - agree with you there----- bc lechoke lost at the big dance and mac crashed in his driveway on the way to the dance. However, fact remains that lechoke won Zero rings pre-wade/CB.

imagine if mac had a team with that talent and coaching.

    f kerr, role playing scrub.

What? Kerr can't voice his opinion after winning championships with MJ and Duncan?

What do you want to hear MJ saying that he's way better than McGrady?
Bird saying he's way better than McGrady?

You and the TOFs are pissed cause Kerr just said the truth.

    Unless you believe otherwise.

You think McGrady is Bird or MJ?

if you do, then go seek some medical help

    You are a TOF!!!

You are saying LeBron lost in the Finals while Tmac can't sniff the Finals if the Finals were a skunk!

Then you talked about Tmac not playing with good coaching?

What Doc Rivers isn't a good coach?
Jeff Van Gundy not a good coach?
Rick the Ruler not a good coach?

These are amongst the greatest coaches of our era

And don't open your TOF trap about Phil Jackson, Phil would NEVER want McGrady. He wants durable killer players like Jordan and Kobe.

    Prior to Miami?
Tmac's career is OVER!!! Nobody wants him. Prior to throwing pitches in Sugarland.

His ENTIRE CAREER he never led a team to anything! like even in China!

you must orgasm every time u call someone a TOF - damn brah, get some new material. i am not a TOF. i told u doc was the only decent coach on the list. you are playing-up jvg and ra to support your argument. remind me which year did RA and JVG win an NBA c'ship?

now you're the expert at what the zen coach wants? mmkay.

your argument is sooooo weak to my ? regarding what lebron won prior to hall of fame talent infusion.

    weak sauce brah.

they all went to the nba finals, but none of the did with Tracy.

Your argument is that LeBron didn't win an NBA title with Cleveland, but you are comparing him to a completely LESSER player in Tmac who:

    1. can't advance past the first round
    2. is not an MVP
    3. career is over in the NBA

    TOF you are.

all that is true. all im saying is had mac played for a coach with nba-victories(not just appearances) and had future HOF teammates, mac's legacy would be different.

    i am not a TOF.
