I have a few shares from around $556. It's not the kind of stock you mess around with by selling on the highs. While the constant innovations and new rollouts of things like iPhones and iPads is likely over, even as a financial engineering machine Apple is still a beast to be reckoned with.

I'm looking at purchasing a Precious Metals Fund (Vanguard), but it still seems to be on a downward trend. I had heard earlier in the year that Gold & Silver were due to rebound after an awful 2013...any consensus here? Good time to buy?

 

Man I sure hope so.

 

I like the gold miners ETF , GDX I have been accumulating since $23 and also have the Jan 2016 $20 and $25 strikes at $4 and 70c . I think once the market tops over the next year and recoils then gold miners will go up 20-30%.. its had a nice move off $23 but in the long term sense I think its a good buy here.

Anyone like FNSR? I think they do some hardware supplier for the new apple iphone 6. I think it may be a nice play along with the new phone coming out.

I managed to dump my GoPro at 49.50. I'd consider getting back in on a dip but we'd have to see.

 

I've shifted my long term investments to the mining sector and European banks in the last couple of months.
